New Prayer Requests

  • Karen Davis had another procedure to try to get rid of the infection she’s had for one year. Pray that it is successful. Doctors have been unable to find the cause of her infection.

  • Charlotte Wittner is having issues with balance and falls. Pray that this issue resolves for her safety and physical wellness.

  • Sam Wittner’s hip is popping out of the socket. Please pray for improvement for him.

  • Lori Wilson’s cancer has spread. Prognosis is not good. She is on hospice care. Please pray for peace of mind for Lori and grace for her family.

  • Sherrill Sageser has severe back pain, and new medications are not helping. On Thursday he will have another urinary procedure that has a 70% success rate. Pray it will help.

  • Cathy Burris had an adjustment on her brain shunt hoping to improve her balance, but it did not help. Pray for her medical team to have guidance on next steps and for her as she recovers.

Ongoing Requests

  • Jeffery and Belinda Yesslith’s son, Aurelius, is in basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, with the National Guard. Please pray for his experience and for his parents.

  • Cory and Kamry Pruitt are grieving a preganancy loss. Additionally, Cory was laid off due to a reduction in force by his employer. Pray for Kamry’s physical healing as well as their whole family during this difficulty season. Pray for the Lord to bring peace and comfort, as well as a new job for Cory.

  • Please pray for Linda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 19), is not in contact with family and they are concerned for him.  Please pray for safety, that he has somewhere to stay & is working, & for his future.

  • The Leatherwoods request prayer for their relationship with their son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Cory.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. She will have her regularly scheduled every 3 month MRI on September 18. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had his kidney removed earlier this year due to cancer. The pathology report indicated it was ureteral cancer and not kidney cancer even though the tumor was in the kidney. They have been monitoring him with scans every three months and as of the last scan in early August, there is no indication that the cancer has spread to any other organs, the bladder being the main concern. He has decided to forgo radiation or chemo and is opting for a wholistic nutritional approach to recover and stay healthy. He is doing well and feeling stronger since the surgery. Thank for you for your continued prayers as he recovers.

  • Marcie St. John, daughter of Michael and Kristin, was hospitalized for 2 weeks for complications to injuries on her back she received from a fall. After overcoming the infections, she is now home. She is continuing treatments, including an at home wound vac, and will need to see a plastic surgeon. Continue to pray for her full healing and for her parents as they care for her injury.

  • Katie MacDougall had another diagnostic procedure on her lungs on August 24th. Please pray for her doctor works to diagnose a second lung disease and improve the success of her current treatment.

  • The Leatherwoods’ son, Daniel, and his wife Cory have separated. He has a mental health diagnosis and is not taking the medication his doctor has prescribed. Please pray for his health and their reconciliation.

  • Sharon Daniels is back home and on medication for her dementia. Please pray she will be able to stay home. Continue to pray for John as he cares for her.

  • Curtis Yerby’s cousin-in-law, Tim Lynch, is ill with an infection he acquired after a medical procedure in Idaho. His initial injuries stem from a vehicle crashing into the wall of his workplace and causing damage to the base of his brain and his diaphragm. Please pray that he will receive good care and that his medical team will have wisdom to care for him, as well as praying for his full and complete healing

  • Nell Head’s brother, Vance, fell and broke his spine. He has had surgery. Pray for his recovery.

  • Stan Kitchell will move both of his parents to Harbor Chase on May. Pray for Stan and his parents as they make these difficult transitions. His parents have been married 71 years and want to stay together as long as possible.

  • Terry Mason is scheduled to have his right knee replacement on October 12.

  • Tom Clanton had foot surgery and will have to use a knee scooter. Please pray for a quick recovery and for Gail and she cares for him.

  • Pray for Roman Jones, infant son of David and Nadine. Roman was diagnosed with moderate-severe hearing loss and received his new hearing aids last week. Pray for him as he adjusts to all the noises he can now hear.

  • Sagesers’ grandson, Aaron, has a broken collarbone. Pray for a quick healing before he starts back to college in August.

  • Monica Janacek suffered a spontaneous coronary artery dissection. She is home. Pray for her continued healing. Also, pray for her and Josh as they grieve the death of their son.

  • Mary Kitchell’s small brain tumors have disappeared, and her large ones have shrunk. Praise the Lord! She is still not eating well and is very weak from losing so much weight. Pllease keep her and Stan in your prayers.

  • The Yerby’s 6-month old great-granddaughter, Quinnlee, had surgery on Friday, June 24. Please be praying for her healing.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Haley, had a successful brain tumor surgery. They were able to remove most of the tumor, which may not be cancerous. Now she has an infection and is unable to start chemo. She is on steroids and not doing well.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Kathy Quillin is needing our prayers for wisdom, direction and health. Kathy has several health issues needing to be covered in prayer. She is specifically asking for the Dr’s wisdom and direction, as well as resolution and healing. Also, Kathy’s current job was eliminated on December 30th, and she is looking for another job that would fit her area of expertise and hours she needs. Please pray God would bring to light any obstacles that might stand in the way of moving forward and that she can find another job quickly.  

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, is walking independently with her new brace and only needs her new wheelchair for long distances. We are thankful for her recovery and all your prayers!

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then. Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia several months ago. She had a successful stem cell transplant. Her doctors will continue to be monitor to ensure that the cells graft as they are supposed to do. Continue to pray for her health and that this treatment works. 

  • Members with continuing health concerns: Karen Davis, Jim Davis, Kevin Fox, David Spiva, Cameron Frank, Cathy Burris, Michelle Hawkins’ brother, Mark Manning, Frazier’s nephew and his wife; Greg and Sarah Frazier, Glenda Phillips.

  • Zac Hanes is at his military AIT training. Zac is in the National Guard.

  • Mary Andrews is in India working with the E3 Partner’s organization to take the gospel to the unreached there. Please pray for her ministry.

  • Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3 year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.

Praises

  • Roger and Megan Godwin welcomed twin boys on June 17. Cyrus and Cedrick were born prematurely and spent 6 weeks in NICU. Please pray for their family as they adjust to life as a family of 7 and continue to pray for the babies to grow, be healthy and thrive at home.

  • Sam Wittner has torn a shoulder muscle and may need surgery. Because he struggles to walk using two canes he will have great difficulty getting around, even in a wheelchair. He also has a respiratory infection. He and Charlotte need prayers and encouragement.

  • Tom Clanton had foot surgery and will have to use a knee scooter. Please pray for a quick recovery and for Gail and she cares for him.

  • Sherrill Sageser is trying a new medication for his severe back pain. He’s now recovering from a urinary procedure. Also, the cause of his tremors is due to Lewy body dementia, but he couldn’t tolerate the prescribed medication. He sees his neurologist this week. Please pray something can help him as he’s depressed about how all these issues are coming at once.

    Pray for Anna Pope as she looks for a job locally. She is currently in Fayetteville, AR, and she is wanting to move back to the OKC area.

  • Stan and Mary Kitchell left Saturday for eight days in Branson. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Please pray for her health and their safety.

  • The Leatherwoods’ son, Daniel, and his wife Cory have separated. He has a mental health diagnosis and is not taking the medication his doctor has prescribed. Please pray for his health and their reconciliation.

  • Kelli Brantley’s teenage niece, Sophie, was having cardiac issues but doctors were able to find a medication that will control her rapid heartbeat and she was released from the hospital.

  • Wilma Cude still has an infection in one lung, but it is shrinking with new medication.

David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

  • The Leatherwoods’ daughter, Rachel, had a brain MRI. She is now receiving treatments for migraines. She is also receiving treatment for kidney stones.

New Prayer Requests

  • Curtis Yerby’s cousin-in-law, Tim Lynch, is ill with an infection he acquired after a medical procedure in Idaho. His initial injuries stem from a vehicle crashing into the wall of his workplace and causing damage to the base of his brain and his diaphragm. Please pray that he will receive good care and that his medical team will have wisdom to care for him, as well as praying for his full and complete healing.

  • Jeffery and Belinda Yesslith’s son, Aurelius, is in basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, with the National Guard. Please pray for his experience and for his parents.

  • Cory and Kamry Pruitt are grieving a preganancy loss. Additionally, Cory was laid off due to a reduction in force by his employer. Pray for Kamry’s physical healing as well as their whole family during this difficulty season. Pray for the Lord to bring peace and comfort, as well as a new job for Cory.

  • Please pray for Linda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • Walker Moore, missionary and Baptist Messenger columnist, passed away on June 26. Be in prayer for his family.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Cathy Burris fell at home again and has a broken collarbone and a brain bleed. She’s been in and out of OU ER with complications but is now home again. She also has a respiratory infection. Please pray for her pain and recovery. Pray for John as he cares for her.

  • Sharon Daniels will be admitted to memory care hospital at the recommendation of her neurologist for further treatment and testing. Pray for her and John as they are separated during this time, that the Lord would give them peace.

  • Nell Head’s brother, Vance, fell and broke his spine. He has had surgery. Pray for his recovery.Stan Kitchell will move both of his parents to Harbor Chase on May. Pray for Stan and his parents as they make these difficult transitions. His parents have been married 71 years and want to stay together as long as possible.

  • Sam Wittner has torn a shoulder muscle and may need surgery. Because he struggles to walk using two canes he will have great difficulty getting around, even in a wheelchair. He also has a respiratory infection. He and Charlotte need prayers and encouragement.

  • Kelli Brantley’s teenage niece, Sophie, was having cardiac issues but doctors were able to find a medication that will control her rapid heartbeat and she was released from the hospital.

  • Tom Clanton had foot surgery and will have to use a knee scooter. Please pray for a quick recovery and for Gail and she cares for him.

  • Karen Davis had a procedure to check her infection. There are surgical options, but she doesn’t like them. Pray for her healing and for wisdom for her doctors.

  • Sherrill Sageser is trying a new medication for his severe back pain. He’s now recovering from a urinary procedure. Also, the cause of his tremors is due to Lewy body dementia, but he couldn’t tolerate the prescribed medication. He sees his neurologist this week. Please pray something can help him as he’s depressed about how all these issues are coming at once.

  • Pray for Lindsey and Kyle Bardwell as they are grieving the loss of her pregnancy. Pray for Lindsey’s physical healing and for the emotional healing of each member of their family.

  • Pray for Roman Jones, infant son of David and Nadine. Roman was diagnosed with moderate-severe hearing loss and fitted for hearing aids. Pray for an easy adjustment to using hearing devices for baby Roman. Pray for his parents as they learn what they need to know to help their baby.

  • Lori Wilson is now on hospice care. Lori is having issues with her panic/anxiety attacks and is finally in therapy for them. Please pray for peace of mind for Lori and patience/grace for all involved.  Please also pray that the therapy is successful in getting rid of these attacks for good.
    Pray for Anna Pope as she looks for a job locally. She is currently in Fayetteville, AR, and she is wanting to move back to the OKC area.

  • The Yerby’s 6-month old great-granddaughter, Quinnlee, had surgery on Friday, June 24. Please be praying for her healing.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Haley, had a successful brain tumor surgery. They were able to remove most of the tumor, which may not be cancerous. Now she has an infection and is unable to start chemo. She is on steroids and not doing well.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had surgery to have his kidney removed as a result of kidney cancer. David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

  • The Leatherwoods’ daughter, Rachel, had a brain MRI. She is now receiving treatments for migraines. She is also receiving treatment for kidney stones.

  • Karen Davis is on IV antibiotics for an infection. Doctors have been unable to find the cause of her infection.

  • Kathy Quillin is needing our prayers for wisdom, direction and health. Kathy has several health issues needing to be covered in prayer. She is specifically asking for the Dr’s wisdom and direction, as well as resolution and healing. Also, Kathy’s current job was eliminated on December 30th, and she is looking for another job that would fit her area of expertise and hours she needs. Please pray God would bring to light any obstacles that might stand in the way of moving forward and that she can find another job quickly.  

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, is walking independently with her new brace and only needs her new wheelchair for long distances. We are thankful for her recovery and all your prayers!

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then. Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia several months ago. She had a successful stem cell transplant. Her doctors will continue to be monitor to ensure that the cells graft as they are supposed to do. Continue to pray for her health and that this treatment works.

  • Katie MacDougall is receiving treatment for a lung condition. Please continue praying for her and her doctors as she adjusts to treatment.  

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. She had her regularly scheduled every 3 month MRI on June 24th, which showed the tumor had shrunk slightly. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink. She will have another MRI in 3 months.

  • Stan Kitchell received permission to keep his father in assisted living for one more week with a 24-hour nurse, allowing him to remain with Stan’s mother for a little longer. They will have to move him to long-term care next week. Pray for Stan and his parents as they make these difficult transitions.

  • Cathy Burris’ brain tumor was discovered one year ago. She has gone through many challenges with the surgery and was even told she may never walk again. But God has blessed her in her recovery, and she has improved so much.

  • Pray for our students at Falls Creek! Also, continue to pray for our new student pastor, Brandon Holloway, and his family as they settle in to their new home.

  • Tom Clanton will have foot surgery again on Friday and will have to use a knee scooter. Please pray for a quick recovery and for Gail and she cares for him

  • Stan Kitchell’s father has been hospitalized for falling. Now Stan needs to find a rehab place for him. Mary Kitchell still needs watchful care so that she doesn’t fall.

  • Terry Mason will have his 6-month checkup with his orthopedic surgeon this week and will talk about planning surgery on his other knee.

  • Karen Davis had a procedure to check her infection. There are surgical options, but she doesn’t like them. Pray for her healing and for wisdom for her doctors.

  • Wilma Cude still has an infection in one lung, but it is shrinking with new medication.

  • Sherrill Sageser is trying a new medication for his severe back pain. He’s now recovering from a urinary procedure. Also, the cause of his tremors is due to Lewy body dementia, but he couldn’t tolerate the prescribed medication. He sees his neurologist this week. Please pray something can help him as he’s depressed about how all these issues are coming at once.

  • Lori Wilson is now on hospice care. Lori is having issues with her panic/anxiety attacks and is finally in therapy for them. Please pray for peace of mind for Lori and patience/grace for all involved.  Please also pray that the therapy is successful in getting rid of these attacks for good.
    Pray for Anna Pope as she looks for a job locally. She is currently in Fayetteville, AR, and she is wanting to move back to the OKC area.

  • Nina Horne’s father has pneumonia. Pray for his healing.

  • Sharon Daniels has been cleared of stomach issues, but has other ongoing health concerns. Continue to pray for her and John.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had surgery to have his kidney removed as a result of kidney cancer. David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

  • The Leatherwoods’ daughter, Rachel, had a brain MRI. She is now receiving treatments for migraines. She is also receiving treatment for kidney stones.

  • Karen Davis is on IV antibiotics for an infection. Doctors have been unable to find the cause of her infection.

  • Kathy Quillin is needing our prayers for wisdom, direction and health. Kathy has several health issues needing to be covered in prayer. She is specifically asking for the Dr’s wisdom and direction, as well as resolution and healing. Also, Kathy’s current job was eliminated on December 30th, and she is looking for another job that would fit her area of expertise and hours she needs. Please pray God would bring to light any obstacles that might stand in the way of moving forward and that she can find another job quickly.  

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, is walking independently with her new brace and only needs her new wheelchair for long distances. We are thankful for her recovery and all your prayers!

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then. Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia several months ago. She had a successful stem cell transplant.   • Lindsey Bardwell is 8 weeks pregnant. She experienced a debilitating migraine with stroke-like symptoms. Her co-workers took her to the ER, where she was able to receive medication that helped. She had this experience for the duration of her first pregnancy, which was scary. Please pray that this was a one time experience and that the remainder of her pregnancy is healthy with no complications. Kyle and Lindsey have two daughters, Nova and Ember. Kyle is our worship associate.

  • Lindsey Bardwell is 8 weeks pregnant. Last week, while at work, she experienced a debilitating migraine with stroke-like symptoms. Her co-workers took her to the ER, where she was able to receive medication that helped. She had this experience for the duration of her first pregnancy, which was scary. Please pray that this was a one time experience and that the remainder of her pregnancy is healthy with no complications. Kyle and Lindsey have two daughters, Nova and Ember. Kyle is our worship associate.

  • Nina Horne’s father has pneumonia. Pray for his healing.

  • Sharon Daniels has been cleared of stomach issues, but has other ongoing health concerns. Continue to pray for her and John.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Haley, had a successful brain tumor surgery. They were able to remove most of the tumor, which may not be cancerous. Now she has an infection and is unable to start chemo. She is on steroids and not doing well.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had surgery to have his kidney removed as a result of kidney cancer. David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Haley, had a successful brain tumor surgery. They were able to remove most of the tumor, which may not be cancerous. She may have to have another surgery in 10-15 years to remove the remainder of the tumor.

  • Sam Wittner’s heart procedure was successful in getting more blood flow to his lower heart. He is feeling better.

  • Mary Kitchell has Stage 4 lung cancer with multiple brain tumors. Radiation on her head is helping. She is taking oral chemo and is very fatigued. Please pray for endurance and peace for her and Stan.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

They will re-evaluate at that time to see if surgery will be needed. Pray that the treatment is successful.

New Prayer Requests

  • Pray for preparations for all the summer outreach and discipleship events that will be available in June and July.

  • Pray for those who are serving on mission at Rio Bravo in Mexico.

  • Cara Mahler will have surgery tomorrow, June 6th. Please pray for an smooth surgery and easy recovery.

Ongoing Requests

  • Please pray for Linda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 19), is not in contact with family and they are concerned for him.  Please pray for safety, that he has somewhere to stay & is working, & for his future.

  • Pray for Josh and Monica Janacek’s son Joshua to draw near to the Lord and seek Him.

  • The Leatherwoods request prayer for their relationship with their son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Cory.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • The Yerby’s 6-month old great-granddaughter, Quinnlee, has developmental dysplasia of the hip and a femur that didn’t form correctly. Her doctor has placed her in a hip brace for three weeks. They will re-evaluate at that time to see if surgery will be needed. Pray that the treatment is successful.

  • Jimmy Smith is in the VA Hospital with heart issues. He will be discharged soon to Ignite Rehab. He is very weak.

  • Cathy Burris had a shunt placed to drain excess fluid from around her brain. It will hopefully improve her balance problems.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Haley, had a successful brain tumor surgery. They were able to remove most of the tumor, which may not be cancerous. She may have to have another surgery in 10-15 years to remove the remainder of the tumor.

  • Sam Wittner’s heart procedure was successful in getting more blood flow to his lower heart. He is feeling better.

  • Lori Wilson continues to receive treatment for her bladder cancer. Continue to pray for her and her family.

  • Mary Kitchell has Stage 4 lung cancer with multiple brain tumors. Radiation on her head is helping. A special lab will determine what specific treatment to do for her lung cancer. Please pray for endurance and peace for her and Stan.

  • Bill Diepenbrock broke his arm in 2 places and broke six ribs several weeks ago. Pray for his continued healing.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Cara Mahler’s mother, Rhonda, continues to have episodes of extreme confusion and disorientation. She is awaiting a neurology appointment in July to find out the cause and determine treatment, but pray they can get her in sooner and that she has limited episodes in the waiting period.

  • Velta Zoeller’s daughter, Teresa, had knee replacement surgery. Pray for her continued healing.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had surgery to have his kidney removed as a result of kidney cancer. David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

  • The Leatherwoods’ son, Daniel, broke his foot in several places. Pray for his foot to heal.

  • Stan Kitchell’s parents (both in their 90s) are at home on hospice. 

  • The Leatherwoods’ daughter, Rachel, had a brain MRI.  She will see a neurologist for a diagnosis.

  • Karen Davis is on IV antibiotics for an infection. Doctors have been unable to find the cause of her infection.

  • Kathy Quillin is needing our prayers for wisdom, direction and health. Kathy has several health issues needing to be covered in prayer. She is specifically asking for the Dr’s wisdom and direction, as well as resolution and healing. Also, Kathy’s current job was eliminated on December 30th, and she is looking for another job that would fit her area of expertise and hours she needs. Please pray God would bring to light any obstacles that might stand in the way of moving forward and that she can find another job quickly.  

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, is walking independently with her new brace and only needs her new wheelchair for long distances. We are thankful for her recovery and all your prayers!

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then. Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia several months ago. She had a successful stem cell transplant. Her doctors will continue to be monitor to ensure that the cells graft as they are supposed to do. Continue to pray for her health and that this treatment works.

  • Katie MacDougall is receiving treatment for a lung condition. Please continue praying for her and her doctors as she adjusts to treatment.  

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. Her regularly scheduled every 3 month MRI is coming up June 24th. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Bill Diepenbrock broke his arm in 2 places and broke six ribs several weeks ago. Pray for his continued healing.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He is dealing with liver failure related to his long tern health problems and has an upcoming appointment to discuss the direction of his treatment. Continue to pray for guidance, healing, pain relief and grace to deal with his multiple health issues, and that he can gain weight and strength. Pray for Chelsea and the kids too!

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then. Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Bill Head’s memorial service was today. Please continue to pray for Nell’s comfort and peace.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Haley Barton (20), is to have surgery today for a brain tumor. Pray for a successful outcome.

  • Mary Kitchell is halfway finished with radiation treatments for her brain tumor. They are helping. Treatment for her lung cancer will begin when they determine what type it is.

  • Lori Wilson’s family was home for Mother’s Day and to help her make decisions.

  • Jim Davis will have surgery on June 2.

  • Bob Boyer will have a CT scan on his  back on the 16th.

  • Kathy Parker (80) passed away on March 3. She was a long-time CHBC member who had been living with her daughter in Branson for several months.  Her Celebration of Life will be held at CHBC on Monday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m.

  • Faye Wooldridge passed away on March 22. Please pray for Clyde during this difficult time.

  • Kent Hibbard (67) passed away in Chickasha. He was a long-time CHBC member who later began Resurrection House in Chickasha to help the homeless find jobs, but mainly to know Jesus.  He was also a pastor there for several years.  Please remember his wife, Julie, and their family at this time.

New Prayer Requests

(This week’s prayer email is being sent later in the week due to illness. Our apologies for the tardiness.)

  • Bill Head entered God’s glory last Wednesday. His service will be Monday, May 15, at 10:30. Please pray for Nell.

  • Mary Kitchell is receiving radiation for multiple brain tumors. She will also have treatment for lung cancer. Please please for Mary and Stan during this difficult time.

  • Lori Wilson is making decisions at this time. Her family is home.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailee Barton, is 20 and has a brain tumor. Surgery is on May 12.  Please pray for a successful outcome.

  • Sam Wittner will have a heart procedure on the 15th. He is not getting enough blood flow to the bottom part of his heart.

  • Karen Davis will still need antibiotics for her infection.

  • Stetson Glennie (infant son of Caleb and Megan) had surgery yesterday to correct an issue with his kidney. Please pray for his recovery.

  • Kathy Parker (80) passed away on March 3. She was a long-time CHBC member who had been living with her daughter in Branson for several months.  Her Celebration of Life will be held at CHBC on Monday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m.

  • The Boyers’ neighbors’ son, Rick, committed suicide. Please pray for his family.

  • Faye Wooldridge passed away on March 22. Please pray for Clyde during this difficult time.

  • Please pray for Linda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Pray for God’s will.

  • Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 19), is not in contact with family and they are concerned for him.  Please pray for safety, that he has somewhere to stay & is working, & for his future.

  • The Leatherwoods request prayer for their relationship with their son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Cory.

  • Kent Hibbard (67) passed away in Chickasha. He was a long-time CHBC member who later began Resurrection House in Chickasha to help the homeless find jobs, but mainly to know Jesus.  He was also a pastor there for several years.  Please remember his wife, Julie, and their family at this time.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Jack Nance has suddenly lost hearing in one ear. He is on medication and will receive further testing.

  • Bill Diepenbrock broke his arm in 2 places and broke six ribs last week. Pray for a quick healing. He is home now.

  • Sharon Daniels is home from the hospital. Doctors still have not determined the cause of her stomach pain.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He is dealing with liver failure related to his long tern health problems and has an upcoming appointment to discuss the direction of his treatment. Continue to pray for guidance, healing, pain relief and grace to deal with his multiple health issues, and that he can gain weight and strength. Pray for Chelsea and the kids too!

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Cara Mahler’s mother, Rhonda, has been having episodes of confusion and disorientation. She is awaiting a neurology appointment in July to find out the cause and determine treatment, but pray they can get her in sooner and that she has limited episodes in the waiting period.

  • Velta Zoeller’s daughter, Teresa, had knee replacement surgery. Pray for her continued healing.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had surgery to have his kidney removed as a result of kidney cancer. David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

  • The Leatherwoods’ son, Daniel, broke his foot in several places. Pray for his foot to heal.

  • Stan Kitchell’s parents (both in their 90s) are at home on hospice. 

  • The Leatherwoods’ daughter, Rachel, had a brain MRI.  She will see a neurologist for a diagnosis.

  • Terry Mason is struggling with his recovery from knee replacement surgery.

  • Joe Pellegrin’s 47-year-old nephew passed away after a heart attack. Please pray for his family who lives in Louisiana.

  • Kathy Quillin is needing our prayers for wisdom, direction and health. Kathy has several health issues needing to be covered in prayer. She is specifically asking for the Dr’s wisdom and direction, as well as resolution and healing. Also, Kathy’s current job was eliminated on December 30th, and she is looking for another job that would fit her area of expertise and hours she needs. Please pray God would bring to light any obstacles that might stand in the way of moving forward and that she can find another job quickly.  

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, had successful surgery on February 13 to close the growth plate in her right leg because the left leg has already stopped growing and they don’t want there to be a bigger discrepancy in length. Please continue to pray for her healing.  

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then. Jason is the bother of CHBC member Brittany Freeman. She has been his sole caregiver since the incident. Please pray for Brittany, as well. She has missed a lot of work and needs encouragement.

  • Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia several months ago. She had a successful stem cell transplant. Her doctors will continue to be monitor to ensure that the cells graft as they are supposed to do. Continue to pray for her health and that this treatment works.

  • Katie MacDougall is receiving treatment for a lung condition. Please continue praying for her and her doctors as she adjusts to treatment.
