  • The Leatherwoods request prayer for their relationship with their son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Cory.

  • Kent Hibbard (67) passed away in Chickasha. He was a long-time CHBC member who later began Resurrection House in Chickasha to help the homeless find jobs, but mainly to know Jesus.  He was also a pastor there for several years.  Please remember his wife, Julie, and their family at this time.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Jack Nance has suddenly lost hearing in one ear. He is on medication and will receive further testing.

  • Bill Diepenbrock broke his arm in 2 places and broke six ribs last week. Pray for a quick healing. He is home now.

  • Sharon Daniels is home from the hospital. Doctors still have not determined the cause of her stomach pain.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He is dealing with liver failure related to his long tern health problems and has an upcoming appointment to discuss the direction of his treatment. Continue to pray for guidance, healing, pain relief and grace to deal with his multiple health issues, and that he can gain weight and strength. Pray for Chelsea and the kids too!

  • George Dickson is having issues with his heart and blood pressure. Pray that the doctors can find and answer and make a good treatment plan.

  • Velta Zoeller’s daughter, Teresa, had knee replacement surgery. Pray for her continued healing.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had surgery to have his kidney removed as a result of kidney cancer. David's oncologist feels like they were able to remove all the cancerous tissue along with the kidney, but they will continue to monitor him every 3 months to make sure it didn't spread to the bladder. They have suggested either radiation or chemotherapy as a precaution and he is weighing those options. Pray for his healing.

  • The Leatherwoods’ son, Daniel, broke his foot in several places. Pray for his foot to heal.

  • Stan Kitchell’s parents (both in their 90s) are at home on hospice.

She is specifically asking for the Dr’s wisdom and direction, as well as resolution and healing. Also, Kathy’s current job was eliminated on December 30th, and she is looking for another job that would fit her area of expertise and hours she needs. Please pray God would bring to light any obstacles that might stand in the way of moving forward and that she can find another job quickly.

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, had successful surgery on February 13 to close the growth plate in her right leg because the left leg has already stopped growing and they don’t want there to be a bigger discrepancy in length. Please continue to pray for her healing.

  • Please pray for Jason Caruthers (26 years old) who was shot in a random drive-by shooting in downtown OKC on January 1st. He has been fighting for his life since then.
