Lori Wilson has been diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer. Her oncologist was encouraged at yesterday’s appt. that her pain level is a bit less. It is a sign that the chemotherapy is doing its job. There is a chance that Lori may not have to have surgery based on genetic testing and the results of two upcoming CT scans (after the first and fourth cycles). This is a tall order as Lori wants the cancer to be gone-never to return and surgery is a good option for that. Please pray for lessening of her pain and wisdom for the medical staff to choose the proper treatment. Lori has moved in with her mom to focus on treatment and provide for her financial needs. Lori has listed her home. Please pray for just the right buyers and for a smooth sale and closing. Pray for her family as they make this transition.
Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia three months ago. Pray also for peace for Megan as she is unable to be with her mom right now since she lives in Tennessee and for Tina as she undergoes tests and waits for the match and transplant.
