New Prayer Requests
Cameron and Haille Frank’s son, Grayson, is in the hospital due to an infected cyst behind his tonsils/adenoids. He is currently receiving IV antibiotics, with hopes of moving to oral antibiotics on Tuesday. He will eventually need surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids. Pray for healing and for his doctor to have wisdom regarding the treatment plan.
Beverly HIte’s granddaughter, Tabetha, is pregnant with her second son, due in late January. She has been put on bedrest. Please pray for a healthy baby and mother.
Beverly’s grandson, Michael (age 19), is not in contact with family and they are concerned for him. Please pray for safety, that he has somewhere to stay & is working, & for his future.
Shirley Mathews daughter, Paula Koeller, fell from her attic stairs and suffered multiple breaks in her foot. She will have surgery on Wednesday to repair the damage. Pray for a successful surgery and a complete recovery.
Cara Mahler developed blood clots in her lungs last Friday. This is her second occurrence of pulmonary emboli. Pray that her body would dissolve and absorb the clots. She will follow up with a hematologist and cardiologist in coming weeks.
Ongoing Requests
After a courageous battle with cancer, Wiley Pinkston has gone home to be with the Lord. Please be in prayer for Annecia, Tiffany, Darren and Whitley as they mourn.
Please keep Taylor Dinh‘s family (former members of CHBC) in prayer. His father, Bao Dinh, passed away last week.
Marcus Green (former member) recently passed away after a long-time battle with kidney disease. Please pray for his children, Natalie, David, and Michael as they grieve that loss.
Please pray for Linda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression
The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Pray for God’s will.
Please keep Donna Sharp in your prayers during this Christmas season. She is mourning the passing of Jerry this time of year. Please say a prayer for comfort and peace.
Hospitalizations and Illnesses
Nell Head fell last week, breaking her ankle and hurting a wrist. Nell is immobile and Bill doesn’t drive. Please pray for her healing, specifically for healing for her ankle, as well as that their insurance will pay for a wheel chair, scooter and a ramp for the house.
Karen Davis is ill and had to receive IV antibiotics at the hospital. Please continue to pray for her and Jim as they recover from various health issues.
Nadine Jones is expecting twins and is at 27 weeks. She has been placed on modified bedrest and hopes to prevent labor until at least 32 weeks. Both babies are healthy and doing well. Pray for her, David and Adrienne as they make the adjustments necessary for a healthy and safe pregnancy.
Please keep Jim and Diane Glennie’s daughter, Arin, in your prayers as she continues to heal. She has vocal cord dysfunction which mimics asthma, and sometimes anaphylaxis. Treatment has worked and she is almost her old self. She will have some follow up but it is manageable.
Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. After all this time he has suddenly begun to show signs of rejection. Please pray the rejection is stopped and no damage is done to the heart.
Brenda Suttle is healing from a respiratory infection.
Vickie Squires had surgery her neck vertebrae on November 16th. She went to Baptist Village for 20 days of rehab two days ago. On Thanksgiving she became ill and was taken to Baptist. She is in ICU with sepsis, kidney failure, dehydration and pneumonia. Her daughter and friends are with her but she cannot communicate with others. Please pray for a healing on her body.
Bill and Jane Pickelsimer’s son in law, Allen Crick, continues in his recovery from Guillain Barre syndrome. It has primarily affected his vision. Please pray that it will be resolved and he will be fully healed.
Don Cude continues to recover from back surgery. Pray for his recovery and healing.
Glenda Phillips has moved to a memory care facility near her daughter’s home in Texas.
Mary Kitchell’s aunt has moved to a memory care facility; she is thriving.
Steve Frazier’s nephew, Jerry Taulbee (mid-40’s) had a heart attack.
Cathy Burris fell and broke her wrist. Please pray for healing for her and for peace and comfort John as he cares for her.
Lori Wilson has been diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer. She is halfway through with her treatments. Lori has moved in with her mom to focus on treatment and provide for her financial needs. She has sold her home and will close on it this Friday. Pray for her family as they make this transition.
Megan Glennie’s mother, Tina Stout, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia three months ago. The chemo treatment her doctors initially recommended is no longer an option for her and she now needs a stem cell/bone marrow transplant ASAP. Pray for her, for a matching donor and for full healing. Pray also for peace for Megan as she is unable to be with her mom right now since she lives in Tennessee and for Tina as she undergoes tests and waits for the match and transplant.
Rodney Lee’s brother, David has kidney cancer. Please pray for successful treatment.
Katie MacDougall is receiving treatment for a lung condition. Please continue praying for her and her doctors as she adjusts to treatment.
Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. Please continue to pray for endurance for Marek and her family as they listen and trust in God’s leading concerning her care.
The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, is doing well. She got a new leg brace, pray that it works well for her. Please continue to pray for her healing.
Clyde Wooldridge and his wife, Faye are still at Baptist Village however Faye is in the memory care facility and is immobile now. Please pray for Faye, her ongoing health needs and for Clyde during this difficult time.
Debra Bacorn (used to prepare Wednesday night meals) is having blood pressure issues and would appreciate prayers.

Zac Hanes is at his military AIT training. Zac is in the National Guard.
Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.
Mary Andrews is in India working with the E3 Partner’s organization to take the gospel to the unreached there. Please pray for her ministry.

We have a number of sweet families in our church who will welcome new babies in the coming months! Praise God for the gift of life and continue to pray for healthy pregnancies.
Bill Pickelsimer’s great nephew, Nicholas Timmons is in full remission after treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma. He had his bell ringing ceremony last week. Thank you for everyone who prayed for him over the many months-years of treatment.
