New Prayer Requests

  • Keaire Wilkins (Sheireka's son) has pending charges. Please pray for the family as they navigate meetings with his attorney and the DA, for peace in the waiting (court scheduled for Aug. 5th), and for the most positive outcome possible. 

Ongoing Requests

  • Geneva Skala is experiencing some problems and requests prayers for strength.

  • Trent Harkins (teenage son of Beth and Greg) is at Basic Training in Fort Benning, GA. Pray for Trent to have a successful time at training and for his family as they will miss him over the summer.

  • John Daniels needs calls of encouragement because he doesn’t know what steps to take next with Sharon. She does well during the day but gets confused in the evenings.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Former member, Dwayne Smith, had a heart attack and a quadruple bypass. He is in the ICU at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Please pray for healing for Dwayne and comfort for Deanna.

  • Karen Davis has an infection, again. Pray for complete healing.

  • Lynda Ramsey’s daughter, Lisa, may have an ovarian cyst. Pray for proper treatment.

  • Tom Clanton’s brother-in-law, Chris (who had the heart aneurysm surgery) now has a kidney stone and had a skin cancer removed from his arm. Pray for his recovery and good health.

  • Cathy Burris’ friend, Greg Earles, was in a serious car accident and has many broken bones and injuries. He is home now and needs prayers for healing. 

  • Pat Boyer has a spot on her kidney that is slightly enlarged. She will see her doctors soon to determine treatment.

  • John Burris’ grandson, John Burris II, had his colon removed. Please pray for his recovery. 

  • Velta Zoeller’s brother went to the ER with his irregular heart rhythm and got a pacemaker implanted to treat it. Now he doesn’t have to wait until July for his appointment. 

  • Helen Wilkerson will be moving to assisted living at Tealridge Retirement Community in Edmond on July 19. Please pray for a safe and easy adjustment.

  • Debbie Weir had her heart stopped and restarted. Pray this will correct her a-fib.

  • Sherrill Sageser’s referral to a new pain management doctor was not accepted because that doctor didn’t implant his pump. Please pray for wisdom about possibly having the pump removed or continuing to find another doctor.

  • Madi Grogan visited Mayo again last week for more testing. They are waiting for another appointment this month and continue to wait on test results. Pray for guidance for the doctors as they look for the causes of Madi’s pain, as well as endurance, provision and peace for Madi and her family.

  • Robin Smith had an ultrasound May 30th for an abnormality in her breast. Please pray for wisdom, peace and healing.

  • Jayne Manley’s son-in-law, Dan Franklin, just retired and learned he has cancer in his spine. 

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailey (21), is struggling again with the residual brain tumor left behind in an earlier surgery. Please pray for correct treatment for her. 

  • Shirley Mathews had a repeat of her lumpectomy in March.  Please pray for a successful outcome and for healing.

  • Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.

  • Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.

  • Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.

  • Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had a number of procedures and health problems Please pray for his healing.

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3 year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.

  • De’Vonte’ Pittman is serving on the mission field in North Africa. He will be there at least a year. Pray for him and for the people groups with whom he will be sharing the gospel.

Lexington Chapel Salvation Report

240 men were visited and encouraged in their cells on June 24th.  19 men prayed to receive, and turn to, the freedom available in and through Christ Jesus!  Pray for guidance and protection for each man as he begins his journey.

  • Belinda Yesslith’s second oldest son was stabbed several times in an altercation. Please pray for his healing and for Brenda to have peace.

  • Jayne Manley’s son-in-law, Dan Franklin, just retired and learned he has cancer in his spine. 

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailey (21), is struggling again with the residual brain tumor left behind in an earlier surgery. Please pray for correct treatment for her. 

  • Shirley Mathews had a repeat of her lumpectomy in March.  Please pray for a successful outcome and for healing.

  • Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.

  • Sherrill Sageser was released from his pain pump doctor because they won’t turn up his pump any more.  He is looking for a new doctor to try to get pain relief.

New Prayer Requests

  • Pat Boyer's doctor found a cancerous spot on her right kidney and also has a mass her right lung.  She will have a CT scan on June 17th and follow up with her doctor for next steps.

  • Trent Harkins (teenage son of Beth and Greg) leaves for Basic Training in Fort Benning, GA on Tuesday am. Pray for Trent to have a successful time at training and for his family as they will miss him over the summer.

  • Anna Harkins (teenage daughter of Beth and Greg) is taking a break from medication changes this week in the hopes she can swim strong Friday evening at the Endeavor Games. Pray God will keep her safe in the water & energized.

  • John Daniels needs calls of encouragement because he doesn’t know what steps to take next with Sharon. She does well during the day but gets confused in the evenings.

  • John and Cathy Burris’s house is under contract and they thank everyone for the prayers for the sale of their home.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

  • Madi Grogan is waiting for upcoming appointments in July at Mayo Clinic. Continue to pray for guidance for these doctors as they look for the causes of Madi’s pain, as well as endurance, provision and peace for Madi, Amanda, and their family.

  • Robin Smith had an ultrasound May 30th for an abnormality in her breast. Please pray for wisdom, peace and healing.

  • Belinda Yesslith’s second oldest son was stabbed several times in an altercation. Please pray for his healing and for Brenda to have peace.

  • Jayne Manley’s son-in-law, Dan Franklin, just retired and learned he has cancer in his spine. 

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailey (21), is struggling again with the residual brain tumor left behind in an earlier surgery. Please pray for correct treatment for her. 

  • Shirley Mathews had a repeat of her lumpectomy in March.  Please pray for a successful outcome and for healing.

  • Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.

  • Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.

  • Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Helen Wilkerson is now in rehab at Baptist Village. Her lungs had fluid because she was not being given one of her medications, but she is better now. She’s wearing an immobilizer on her broken leg. Pray for her recovery.

  • Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.

  • Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had 2 Disk replaced in his lower back and is still having severe pain in his right hip & severe headaches. Additionally, he had heart bypass surgery on February 15. Please pray for his healing. They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.  

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Sherrill Sageser has had his pain pump refilled, and the flow was increased by 10%, but it still doesn’t help his back pain. Pray for a solution that will help him have less pain.

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • Tom Clanton’s brother-in-law, Chris, was having headaches and a nose bleed.  He had strokes on both sides of his brain, which only affected his legs. He is now progressing well in rehab.

  • Don Cude is scheduled to have a reversal surgery in his abdomen, tomorrow, May 7. Don and Wilma are really wanting to get back to church when Don is better. 

  • Linda Sageser has pain in her right shoulder from lifting and loading Sherrill’s walker. Please pray it improves and doesn’t need treatment.

  • Madi Grogan had her initial appointment at Mayo Clinic today. The doctor who saw her suggested they see some other specialists while they are there. Madi will see a Pediatric Rheumotologist on Tuesday at 7:45am and a geneticist on Wednesday at 9:45am. Continue to pray for guidance for these doctors as well as endurance, provision and peace for Madi and her family.

Ongoing Requests

  • Stan Kitchell’s mother passed away last Thursday. Please pray for the family. 

  • Belinda Yesslith recently lost her mom, brother, and her dad. Please pray for comfort for her. 

  • David Ramsey has not yet heard from his job interview. Continue to pray for God’s will with his employment. 

  • Please pray for Mikayla Harrison and her household as they go through a tough transition the next few weeks. 

  • Pray for Cory Pruitt and Kathy Quinllan as they both seek new jobs. Pray that the Lord would guide them each to the employer and position that will be a blessing to their families and help them to live sent in their work place.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • John and Cathy Burris have sinus congestions.

  • Joe Pellegrin had another CT scan on his lungs with a possible second biopsy planned. But the radiologist compared it with a 2017 scan and discovered the small spot was seen then, and it has grown only minimally since then. PTL! His doctor has decided to wait 6 months to a year before checking it again. 

  • Tom Clanton’s brother-in-law, Chris, was having headaches and a nose bleed.  He had strokes on both sides of his brain, which only affected his legs. He is now progressing well in rehab. 

  • Jayne Manley’s son-in-law, Dan Franklin, just retired and learned he has cancer in his spine. 

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailey (21), is struggling again with the residual brain tumor left behind in an earlier surgery. Please pray for correct treatment for her. 

  • Susan Leatherwood is getting stronger and is able to sometimes walk without her walker. She thanks everyone for their support.

  • Shirley Mathews had a repeat of her lumpectomy on Friday, March 29th.  Please pray for a successful outcome and for healing.

  • Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., just found out he has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.

  • Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.

  • Terry McNeily is in the hospital due to a leg infection. Pray for healing and less pain.

  • Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Annecia Pinkston is in PT three times a week as her knee recovers.

  • Sharon Daniels does well during the day but gets confused in the evenings. John is home now and gaining strength. 

  • Helen Wilkerson is now in rehab at Baptist Village. Her lungs had fluid because she was not being given one of her medications, but she is better now. She’s wearing an immobilizer on her broken leg. Pray for her recovery.

  • Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.

  • Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had 2 Disk replaced in his lower back and is still having severe pain in his right hip & severe headaches. Additionally, he had heart bypass surgery on February 15. Please pray for his healing. They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.  

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Sherrill Sageser has had his pain pump refilled, but he still hasn’t had any relief. He is taking a few physical therapy treatments to improve his movements. 

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

New Prayer Requests

  • Madi Grogan has an appointment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on Monday, May 6th. Be praying that the appointment will result in movement toward a diagnosis and that the doctors there will be able to find solutions to help Madi be pain-free soon. Pray for safe travels for her and Amanda and then for Jeff and the other kids staying here in OKC. Also for wisdom as they make preparations and for God to provide as they await insurance decisions on coverage.

Additionally, he had heart bypass surgery on February 15. Please pray for his healing. They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.  

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Sherrill Sageser had another 20% increase in his pain pump but still has not had any relief. He is taking a few physical therapy treatments to improve his movements. 

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Pat Boyer’s blood pressure has been very high. She was in the ER, and they changed her medication. She will see her PCP this week.

  • Kathleen Koehler recently found out that there is water in the motor of her vehicle. She as able to get it running and is praying the Lord will provide a new vehicle when her tax return comes. She has had to cut back on hour and work. Please pray for the Lord to provide for her needs.

  • George Larson has throat cancer and a spot has shown up on his pancreas. He had pancreatic surgery on Tuesday, March 19. Pray for his recovery and healing.

Ongoing Requests

  • Please pray for Mikayla Harrison and her household as they go through a tough transition the next few weeks. 

  • Greg and Beth Harkins have been navigating some difficult issues in their home and are very weary. Please pray for God to give them strength, wisdom and peace, as well as rest.

  • Please continue to pray for Katie MacDougall and her sister, Emily, as they grieve the loss of their mother, Vicki, who passed away on January 21.

  • Kathleen Koehler recently found out that there is water in the motor of her vehicle. She as able to get it running and is praying the Lord will provide a new vehicle when her tax return comes. She has had to cut back on hour and work. Please pray for the Lord to provide for her needs.

  • Pray for Cory Pruitt and Kathy Quinllan as they both seek new jobs. Pray that the Lord would guide them each to the employer and position that will be a blessing to their families and help them to live sent in their work place.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

  • Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailey (21), is struggling again with the residual brain tumor left behind in an earlier surgery. Please pray for correct treatment for her.

  • Shirley Mathews had a repeat of her lumpectomy on Friday, March 29th.  Please pray for a successful outcome and for healing.

  • Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., just found out he has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.

  • Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.

  • Terry McNeily is in the hospital due to a leg infection. Pray for healing and less pain.

  • Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.

  • Jane Pickelsimer recently had rotator cuff surgery. Pray for her as she recovers and begins physical therapy.

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Annecia Pinkston is in PT three times a week as her knee recovers.

  • George Larson has throat cancer and a spot has shown up on his pancreas. He had pancreatic surgery on Tuesday, March 19. Pray for his recovery and healing.

  • Sharon Daniels does well during the day but gets confused in the evenings. John is home now and gaining strength. 

  • Helen Wilkerson is now in rehab at Baptist Village. Her lungs had fluid because she was not being given one of her medications, but she is better now. She’s wearing an immobilizer on her broken leg. Pray for her recovery.

  • Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.

  • Don Cude is recovering at home after having some of his small intestine removed during an emergency surgery. Continue to pray for Don’s healing and for Wilma as she cares for him. Don will have another surgery, with the date to be determined.

  • Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had 2 Disk replaced in his lower back and is still having severe pain in his right hip & severe headaches. Additionally, he had heart bypass surgery on February 15. Please pray for his healing. They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.  

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Sherrill Sageser received a 10% increase on his pain pump, but it is not relieving his pain yet. Pray that he will begin experiencing some pain relief.

  • Tom Clanton’s brother, Chris, had a successful surgery and is recovering well. He was able to return home. Pray for his continued healing.

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Annecia Pinkston is in PT three times a week as her knee recovers.

  • George Larson has throat cancer and a spot has shown up on his pancreas. He will have pancreatic surgery on Tuesday, March 19. Pray for his recovery and healing.

  • Susan Leatherwood will have back surgery on Tuesday for a collapsed L3 vertebrae and fusion of L2 and L4. Please pray for her recovery after her fall from the attic.

The doctor reviewed a second scan and held out some hope of a course of treatment but it will probably require the removal of part of the pancreas.  Please pray for the family as George has other tests during the next two weeks including a biopsy.

New Prayer Requests

  • Pray for the spring events at CHBC, as well as preparations for our summer mission projects, mission trips and camps.

Ongoing Requests

  • Greg and Beth Harkins have been navigating some difficult issues in their home and are very weary. Please pray for God to give them strength, wisdom and peace, as well as rest.

  • Annette Brown’s two-month-old great-granddaughter recently passed away. Annette would like to thank her church family for their love, care and especially the hugs as her family has grieved the recent loss of her grandbaby. 

  • Please continue to pray for Katie MacDougall and her sister, Emily, as they grieve the loss of their mother, Vicki, who passed away on January 21.

  • Kathleen Koehler recently found out that there is water in the motor of her vehicle. She as able to get it running and is praying the Lord will provide a new vehicle when her tax return comes. She has had to cut back on hour and work. Please pray for the Lord to provide for her needs.

  • Pray for Cory Pruitt and Kathy Quinllan as they both seek new jobs. Pray that the Lord would guide them each to the employer and position that will be a blessing to their families and help them to live sent in their work place.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Danny Zoeller is no longer having seizures and is home. Please pray for continued health improvement for Danny and for Velta as she had skin cancer removed from her calf and is helping care for Danny.

  • Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., just found out he has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.

  • Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.

  • Susan and Terry Leatherwood were cleaning out their attic when Susan fell through the ceiling of their attic and broke several bones in her body. She is recovering and able to get around the house. She will have a follow up with her doctor to check her progress. Please pray for her healing and for Terry as he cares for her while working from home.

  • Terry McNeily is in the hospital due to a leg infection. Pray for healing and less pain.

  • Linda Ramsey is recovering from a double hernia surgery. Pray for a full, quick and complete healing.

  • Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. They will see doctors at MD Anderson on February 19 to determine a course of treatment. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.

  • Jane Pickelsimer recently had rotator cuff surgery. Pray for her as she recovers and begins physical therapy.

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Annecia Pinkston had her cast removed and is able to get around with a brace. Pray for her continue recovery.

  • George Larson has throat cancer and a spot has shown up on his pancreas. The doctor reviewed a second scan and held out some hope of a course of treatment but it will probably require the removal of part of the pancreas.  Please pray for the family as George has other tests during the next two weeks including a biopsy.

  • Bob Boyer had a large area of skin removed from on top of his head due to cancer. Pray for complete healing.

  • John Daniels is still in Integris Baptist, room 871. Sharon has been able to visit, but continues to have periods of confusion with her dementia. Pray for John and Sharon.

  • Helen Wilkerson is now in rehab at Baptist Village. Her lungs had fluid because she was not being given one of her medications, but she is better now. She’s wearing an immobilizer on her broken leg. Pray for her recovery.

  • Pat Boyer is home and recovering from her lung surgery. She is gaining strength but unable to be out and about in crowds.

  • Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.

  • Don Cude is recovering at home after having some of his small intestine removed during an emergency surgery. Continue to pray for Don’s healing and for Wilma as she cares for him. Don will have another surgery, with the date to be determined.

  • Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had 2 Disk replaced in his lower back and is still having severe pain in his right hip & severe headaches. Additionally, he had heart bypass surgery on February 15. Please pray for his healing. They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.  

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Sherrill Sageser received another 20% increase on his pain pump, but it is not relieving his pain yet. The increases will be made slowly.

  • Tom Clanton’s brother, Chris, has an aneurysm on a heart valve. A proper stent was made in Australia, but he’s still awaiting surgery because there are only two doctors here that are qualified to do it.

  • Kathleen Koehler recently found out that there is water in the motor of her vehicle. She as able to get it running and is praying the Lord will provide a new vehicle when her tax return comes. She has had to cut back on hour and work. Please pray for the Lord to provide for her needs.

  • Pray for Cory Pruitt and Kathy Quinllan as they both seek new jobs. Pray that the Lord would guide them each to the employer and position that will be a blessing to their families and help them to live sent in their work place.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • Joe Pellegrin has an upper respiratory infection and is on antibiotics. Pray for his healing.

  • Susan and Terry Leatherwood were cleaning out their attic when Susan fell through the ceiling of the attic to the floor. She has a broken right shoulder blade, four broken ribs on her right side, broken pelvis and a broken lumbar vertebrae. She can’t get around very well, but has home care and will have physical therapy. Please pray for her healing and for Terry as he cares for her while working from home.

  • Rodney's brother, David, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7th. David was a Christian and his life was beautifully eulogized by a family friend in a lovely celebration of life. Thank you so much for your prayers for our family.

She has a broken right shoulder blade, four broken ribs on her right side, and a broken lumbar vertebrae. She stayed in the hospital last night. X-rays were being taken to see if she needs back surgery. Please pray for her pain and recovery.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.

  • Joe Pellegrin’s lung biopsy was benign. However, the surgeon was not able to access the tissue that he wanted. They will do another CT and biopsy in six months as the suspected cancer is slow growing. Please pray for a good outcome.

  • Annecia Pinkston will have her leg cast removed on February 22. Please pray for her mobility.

  • George Larson has throat cancer and a spot has shown up on his pancreas. The doctor reviewed a second scan and held out some hope of a course of treatment but it will probably require the removal of part of the pancreas.  Please pray for the family as George has other tests during the next two weeks including a biopsy.

  • Bob Boyer had a large area of skin removed from on top of his head due to cancer. Pray for complete healing.

  • John Daniels recently had a skin cancer removed from on top of his head. Sharon continues to have periods of confusion with her dementia. Pray for John and Sharon.

  • Danny Zoeller’s leg hematoma are healing and he is doing better. He is scheduled to have back surgery on February 12.

  • Helen Wilkerson is now in rehab at Baptist Village. Her lungs had fluid because she was not being given one of her medications, but she is better now. She’s wearing an immobilizer on her broken leg. Pray for her recovery.

  • Pat Boyer is home and recovering from her lung surgery. Pray for her to continue to gain strength.

  • Rodney's brother, David, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7th. David was a Christian and his life was beautifully eulogized by a family friend in a lovely celebration of life. Thank you so much for your prayers for our family. 

  • Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.

  • Don Cude is recovering at home after having some of his small intestine removed during an emergency surgery. Continue to pray for Don’s healing and for Wilma as she cares for him.

  • Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had 2 Disk replaced in his lower back and is still having severe pain in his right hip & severe headaches.  They plan to come back to Church as soon as he is better but for now appreciate prayers for pain relief and complete healing.  They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.  

  • Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. Pray for his treatment and healing.

  • Sherrill Sageser received another 20% increase on his pain pump, but it is not relieving his pain yet. The increases will be made slowly.

  • Karen Davis had another procedure trying to determine how to fight her chronic infection. Please pray doctors can find an effective treatment for her.

  • Tom Clanton’s brother-in-law, Chris, recovered from Covid but still needs a stent put in his aneurysm. This procedure is not yet approved in the US because of the location of his aneurysm. Please pray for his treatment.

  • Kelly Horne had a heart attack and had two stents inserted. He is recovering at home and doing well.

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.  

  • Members with continuing health concerns: Karen Davis, Jim Davis, Kevin Fox, David Spiva, Cameron Frank, Cathy Burris, Michelle Hawkins’ brother, Mark Manning, Frazier’s nephew and his wife; Greg and Sarah Frazier, Glenda Phillips, Sherrill Sageser, Sam Wittner, Charlotte Wittner, Sharon Daniels, Belinda Yesslith.

Missions and Ministry Requests

  • Pray for our country and elected leaders.

  • Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.

  • Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3 year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.
