CHBC Prayer List

November 4, 2025

New Prayer Requests

  • Mary Kitchell dislocated her new hip joint again. The hospital wanted to send her back home, but Stan insisted she stay and get it fixed properly. She had a total hip replacement yesterday (11/3.) Pray she recovers quickly and doesn’t have any further problems.

  • Kathy Quillin is having issues with her right hip and lower back. Pray that her doctor can help her find relief.

  • Pray for the Caribbean nations who were impacted by Hurricane Melissa; for the people whose lives and homes have been affected, for the missionaries and aid workers serving to provide relief, and for the leaders guiding the nation through the aftermath.

  • Pray for those in our nation who are struggling to feed their families.

Ongoing requests

  • Cathy Burris learned nothing must be done at this time after her blood test. Doctors will check her again in six months.

  • Robert Ladymon had an MRI on Friday. Pray for a correct diagnosis.

  • Robert Ladymon’s daughter had her gall bladder surgery postponed. She is not feeling well.

  • Mikel Ladymon passed her blood test and won’t have to get a stent. She is taking a prescribed medication as recommended.

  • Anna Harkins, daughter of Beth and Greg, was hospitalized last week with complications of a very rare medication reaction (DRESS Syndrome). They are still pursuing evaluations out of state with top specialists, but are experiencing roadblocks with her insurance. Pray for Anna’s healing and for endurance as they all walk this very long road. If you feel led to bless their family with a meal, more information is available through their meal train: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/yyly5k

  • Pray for our country and elected leaders.

Praises

  • Praise God for all He is doing in our church and community.

  • John Burris’s daughter found out the spots on her lungs are not cancerous.

  • Curtis Yerby had some medical procedures done at the hospital. He is feeling fine and is back at church.

CHBC Prison Ministry Prayer Requests

Please keep the following requests in your prayers this week.

  • Several men in A&R rounds asked for prayers for their children, and wives, dealing with the day-to-day, as well as spiritual well-being and for all to remain focused on Jesus…especially during trying times like being separated via prison:  Brandon, Anthony, Delman, Joseph, Pete, Matt, Dillon, and others.

  • Praise for a baptism at Allen Gamble last week, during the CHBC church service on Sunday morning, 11/02/2025:  a man named Preston Brandt.

  • Praise for the ongoing fund raiser at Lexington, where over $2700 has been raised by and from the men inside of prison, to support the hungry on the outside, during this time where some families may not know where their next meal is coming from.  These funds will be matched and donated to the Purcell food bank.

  • Pray for a man named French Brockman, who needs to begin finding a way forward outside of prison.  It has been a long time since he was outside, and has no family or people to support him.

Remember to keep the following men in your prayers, as they have surrendered to Jesus with prayers of repentance and surrender during recent A&R cell-to-cell visits.  Pray for direction and protection!

  • James Sparks

  • Dakota Garrison

  • Dion Rodgriguez

  • Dewayne Knightsen

  • Mike Howard

  • Eric Markham

That’s 325 confessions of Christ in 2025, and 1047 since we started counting in Feb of 2023.  All glory to God and His kingdom!
