Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat is coming up for our church THIS FRIDAY, October 31st! We’re excited about the opportunity to serve our community and reach our neighbors with the hope of Christ.
Be praying for our community, our connect teams, and everyone serving as we seek to be Christ to our neighbors. Please pray about and consider how you can be involved, whether it’s serving on a team, bringing candy to the church, or donating towards our candy fund, we need all of our church to engage.
New Prayer Requests
Anna Harkins, daughter of Beth and Greg, has been rehospitalized with complications of a very rare medication reaction (DRESS Syndrome). They are still pursuing evaluations out of state with top specialists, but are experiencing roadblocks with her insurance. Pray for Anna’s healing and for endurance as they all walk this very long road. If you feel led to bless their family with a meal, more information is available through their meal train: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/yyly5k
Corbi Jenkins had a knee replacement at the beginning of October and has been experiencing complications. Pray for her healing and full recovery.
Pray for Jamaica: for the people whose lives and homes have been affected, for the missionaries and aid workers serving to provide relief, and for the leaders guiding the nation through the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.

CHBC Prison Ministry Prayer Requests
Please keep the following requests in your prayers this week.
Karen, an acquaintance of a volunteer, is being drawn closer to the Lord. She threw out her version of Jesus, along with Mormonism, from her life, 7+ yrs ago. And is now recognizing that Jesus is real, and only He alone can make the differences in her life, for her eternal needs, and those of her children. Pray for God to be glorified!
Lexington has seen 4 recent “medical related” deaths on the yard. Pray for the men serving in the medical unit, and for the men impacted by these losses in the recent weeks.
Steve Kern requested prayer for the Kenya medical clinic. Praise for the recently drilled well for water supply for the clinic and the people they serve. Prayer as they seek to complete the cistern and tower as the next step in the process.
Pray for options and opportunities for a man named Adam Rushing who is seeking to keep God as his priority when he leaves prison in November.
Remember to keep the following men in your prayers, as they have surrendered to Jesus with prayers of repentance and surrender during recent A&R cell-to-cell visits. Pray for direction and protection!
