New Prayer Requests
Tara Sageser had another spell of unbalance and weakness Saturday and fell at work. Please pray she can get into a neurologist soon.
Former CHBC member, Linda Lowrey, has cancer that has spread and is no longer treatable. Hospice has been called in. Pray for her and her family.
Debra Bacorn is going to manage the kitchenfor us. She asks that we pray about what Wednesday night meals might look like in the upcoming year as she begins to plan and prepare.
Ongoing Requests
Pray for the children of Brenda Yesslith to be drawn closer to the Lord. They live in Phoenix and Los Angeles.
Roger and Megan Godwin, along with their 5 children, lost their home last week in a fire. Pray for their family as they move through this difficult trial. The Families in Motion small group is organizing several ways to serve their family. If you’d like to contribute, please contact info@chbcok.com.
Debbie Weir accepted a new job position that is a lateral move without a pay decrease. She will start in a couple weeks.
Velta Zoeller’s brother, James, still has a difficult relationship with his son, Scott. Scott has had many problems during his life. He recently went to the hospital with heart problems and back pain. The doctor prescribed a medication that might help him live another five years. If he doesn’t take it, he won’t. Scott won’t listen to anyone sharing the gospel. Please pray for his salvation and health.
Pray for the Weigand’s friends who are workers in North Africa. They lost their home sending church. They have still not been able to connect with a new sending church, as travel and ministry difficulties make it hard to return to the states to build that support system back up. Pray for the Lord to provide answers and support according to His will.
Tia Philbin is taking legal action in a very traumatic situation that she experienced in the past. She is asking for strength and peace during the process as well as justice to be served.
Paul Christy is serving in the Air Force in Italy. Pray for community and strength for him as he’s away for the next few years.
Pray for those in our church family who are looking for employment, that the Lord would provide for their needs and place them in the right position for their gifts, talents, and to be used for His glory.

Pray for wisdom for John Daniels as he cares for Sharon.
Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.
Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.
Hospitalizations and Illnesses
Mary Kitchell’s cancer has metastasized to the bone in her leg. This causes the bone to become brittle, and very susceptible to breaking. They have referred her to an orthopedic oncologist and are awaiting a call from Stephenson Cancer Center.
Lois Phelps’ sister, Peggy Bysun, is having emergency surgery to replace her pacemaker and her body is battling sepsis, which makes the surgery even more complicated. Prayers for Peggy, her medical team, and Lois are appreciated.
Tom Clanton’s friend, Jimmy Lehew, is now in skilled nursing following his surgery for a broken leg. He is a former evangelist and has many health issues including diabetes. Please pray for his healing and recovery.
The Kitchells’ nephew, Scott, has diabetes and had part of his foot amputated. Please pray it heals properly.
Belinda Yesslith’s aunt, Alice Mute, is in a nursing home on oxygen. She had been hospitalized with lung problems. In addition, Belinda has a very cloudy lung with no treatment available. The doctor said she may have three years yet to live. She trusts in God.
Pat Boyer has been doing hand exercises at home, which have helped her left hand. She didn’t have to go to PT.
Dan Maddux, Donna Sharp’s friend, will have his other knee replacement surgery, however it was postponed due to a tooth infection. .
Kathy Quillan’s shoulder pain is gone She had an outpatient procedure Monday, May 5th. Pray for her healing.
Pray for Tanya Fobasso’s parents health and well being that God would provide exactly what her family needs.
Sam and Charlotte Wittner - The spots on Charlotte’s liver and kidney were cysts that are not concerning. Charlotte’s dementia is progressing. Pray for Sam to have patience in caring for his wife.

Missions and Ministry Requests
Noah Leslie will spend the summer serving in NYC at Everlasting Church.
Pray for our country and elected leaders.
Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.
Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam, Grayson and new baby Kaleb, are serving a 3-year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.
De’Vonte’ Pittman is serving on the mission field in North Africa. He will be there at least a year. Pray for him and for the people groups with whom he will be sharing the gospel.
Pray the congregation at Northeast Fellowship, that they would grow in their love for God and each other. Pray for their community, specifically for the new people moving to their community that the Lord would use their church to reach them with the gospel and equip them to meet their physical needs. Let everything they do/plan be devotional, and draw them closer to the Lord.
Praises
Praise God for all He is doing in our church and community.
Steve and Lisa Myers’ twin premature grandsons, Barrett and Byron, have been released from the NICU and are now home with their parents, Mark and Robin. Praise the Lord!
CHBC prison ministry Prayer requests
Please keep the following requests in your prayers this week.
Praise that Barry was able to transition to minimum facility. He is one of the OBU students, soon to be working as a field minister, and formally from CHBC in the 1990’s as a youth. God is blessing him!
Justin Landers is a young man who is one of 3 men participating in the Knitting ministry at Joseph Harp. These men continuously knit American flag afghans, which are distributed to disabled veterans. Lately their yarn supply has been scarce, and they need more yarn to continue their efforts.
Pray for Will, a man who is currently pondering the Good News of the gospel as he came to understand it in a much more meaningful way on 06/02. He needs to surrender his life.
Pray for a former satanist named Anthony, who surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and repented of his rebellion, on May 14th this year!
Pray for Jayden whose brother recently passed away.

Matt requests prayer for his upcoming case review, that truth would be known and reflected in all that happens.
Continue to keep all the 29 OBU graduates in your prayers. The expectation is they will all be setting out on their missions into the Oklahoma prisons around the middle of June, as Field Ministers. They are nervous and excited, as they begin to sing this new song to God during this new chapter of their walk with Him!
Remember to keep the following men in your prayers, as they have surrendered to Jesus with prayers of repentance and surrender during A&R cell-to-cell visits. Pray for direction and protection!
