PASTOR’S NOTE
Hey Church Family,
Get ready for an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social this Sunday! We have some seasoned ice cream makers bringing their best, so come ready to sample them all! Take some time to sit with someone you don't know well, enjoy some great conversation, and get to know your church family. We'll also have a brief business meeting and take time to celebrate what God is doing through the ministries of our church.
This Sunday morning we'll continue our study in Luke 21 with Part 2 of Jesus' Olivet Discourse. After leaving the temple and going to the Mount of Olives, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Jesus when the temple would be destroyed, what signs would precede these events, and what would signal the end of the age. I encourage you to read the parallel accounts in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 as you prepare for worship. This message focuses on the future period known as the Tribulation, when God will pour out His righteous judgment on the nations of the world, while reminding us to remain faithful, watchful, and confident in God's sovereign plan.

THIS WEEKEND
DEACONS MEETING
We will have our monthly Deacon’s meeting this Sunday at 4:30pm.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL / FAMILY BUSINESS MEETING
For our July Family Business Meeting, we’re going to meet in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30pm for an Ice Cream Social.
Please bring your favorite ice cream and toppings to the Fellowship Hall by 5:15pm.
We’ll gather to get updated ministry and financial reports as well as new member requests for a vote, as with our typical Family Business Meetings, and then we’ll hear from our graded ministries about all of the incredible things we saw the Lord do over the summer.

SUNDAY NIGHT PROPHECY STUDY | AUG 16
Our next Sunday Night Prophecy Study with Johnny Just will be on Sunday, August 16th.
We will have Fellowship time from 5:30-6:00 pm and Teaching time (Ezekiel) from 6:00-7:00pm. This group meets every 3rd Sunday of the month in Room 152/154 (behind the worship center).
MDWK at CHBC is taking a BREAK for the SUMMER!
Our normal midweek activities are taking a break for June and July to allow room for summer camps, VBS, and all the activities we engage with throughout the summer.
MDWK activities resume August 19th!
