First Fruits Sunday | sept 1st
This Sunday is First Fruits Sunday at CHBC!
For this Sunday, we will be highlighting the Edna McMillan state mission offering, which helps support those who are broken from poverty, hunger, foster care, imprisonment, and addiction, as well as church planting, Disaster Relief evangelism, collegiate ministry, Indian Falls Creek, and evangelism projects throughout the state of Oklahoma.
You will be able to find more information this Sunday at Grand Central, including how you can give toward this important state offering.
Whiz Kids training | sept 4th
It’s almost time for Whiz Kids to start back!
Whiz Kids is a great program that allows us to serve the students at Tulakes Elementary by offering one-on-one tutoring to help them succeed. We also have opportunities to teach the Bible and get to know their families.

teacher appreciation brunch | Sept 7th
If you or your one of your children/students has a teacher we want to celebrate them! Invite them to join us, then you can come and help us serve them brunch.
September 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Enjoy a pancake brunch, prizes, and words of encouragement given by Beth Harkins
Men’s Top Golf | Sept 9th
Come hang out for a great night with the CHBC Men!
On Monday, Sept. 9th from 6-8pm the Men's ministry will be hosting a Top Golf Fellowship Event.
Cost: $10 - includes food, drinks, and gameplay.
60 Years of CHBC | Sept 15th
This year we are celebrating 60 years of Cherokee Hills! If you have any pictures of Cherokee Hills over the years, we would love to see them! Please send anything you have to info@chbcok.com or bring them by the church office to be scanned. Thank you!

60th Anniversary Choir | Sept 15th
Calling All Singers
For our 60th anniversary celebration we are putting together a choir to perform a piece as a service opener led by Keith Haygood. Make plans to join us Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 pm in the worship center for a rehearsal.
christmas Mission trip | dec 18-22
We have a wonderful opportunity to serve the kids and staff at the Rio Bravo Children's home this Christmas! They need help sorting and wrapping Christmas presents for all the kids.
The tentative dates are December 18th-22nd
The cost will be $100/person
This trip is open to all ages. Passport/Passport Card is Required
GO DEEPER AT CHBC
Midweek at CHBC, Every Wednesday
Start with a family dinner in our Fellowship Hall, doors open at 5pm. Cost is $5 each, with a $15 family max.
This week, we are having: Chicken Fried Rice and Eggrolls
Equip classes will start at 6:15pm, and the doors will open at 6pm for preschool, kids, preteen, and student ministry activities. *See equip classes below.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Join Brian and Stephany Meister every Wednesday at 6:00pm in the Senior Adult Room to pray together as a church. We will be praying through Scripture, prayer requests, and lifting up the lost.
Faith Essentials: Basic Apologetics
We’ll meet in the south Fellowship Hall. Bring a Bible and a journal!
