Whiz Kids is a faith-based, one-on-one volunteer tutoring and mentoring program that focuses on second through fifth-grade students in areas with the highest drop-out rates and lowest socio-economic levels in Oklahoma City.

Cherokee Hills Baptist Church partners with Tulakes Elementary School to provide one on one tutoring, a group Bible time, and a meal at the church on Wednesdays during the school year from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. 

Overthe last fifteen years we have seen kids improve their reading skills, we have built relationships with students and families, we have had the joy of seeing kids learn about how much God loves them and learn Bible truths to help them make good decisions & we have been able to share the gospel with kids and their families.

Whiz Kids tutor training will be Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 3:00 pm at CHBC and weekly tutoring will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 3:00 pm.
