New Prayer Requests
Helen Wilkerson fell last week in her living room. She was taken by ambulance to Integris Baptist where she was admitted to monitor a brain bleed and broken leg. She is still in the hospital at this time and unable to put weight on her leg. Pray for her full healing. She is in room 601, bed 2.
Pat Boyer is hospitalized at Integris Hospital on NW Expressway with strep, pneumonia, and fluid filling her right lung. A bacteria is in her bloodstream. She is also not eating. Please pray for effective treatments for Pat so that she can heal soon. She is in room 757.
Rodney Lee’s brother, David, is on hospice and does not have much time remaining. Pray for their family to feel God’s peace at this difficult time.
Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.
Ongoing Requests
John and Cathy Burris are now moved into their new apartment at Baptist Village. They will have an estate sale at their home and then sell their property. Please pray for them as they make this transition.
Terry and Susan Leatherwood and their son Daniel continue to visit with one another. Daniel has recently started a good job working with excavating equipment. Pray for continued improvement in family relationships.
Pray for Cory Pruitt and Kathy Quinllan as they both seek new jobs. Pray that the Lord would guide them each to the employer and position that will be a blessing to their families and help them to live sent in their work place.
Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.
The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.
Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.
Hospitalizations and Illnesses
Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.
Don Cude had emergency surgery two weeks ago where he had some of his intestines removed. Continue to pray for Don’s healing and for Wilma as she cares for him.
Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had 2 Disk replaced in his lower back and is still having severe pain in his right hip & severe headaches. They plan to come back to Church as soon as he is better but for now appreciate prayers for pain relief and complete healing. They also would like to thank CHBC for being so kind to them when they started attending and they sincerely hope to return again when Dennis is better.
Vicki MacDougall was recently in the ICU due to passing out at a routine doctor’s appointment. Please pray for her as she is home recovering and for wisdom for her doctors.
Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. Pray for his treatment and healing.
Sherrill Sageser has gained back some strength after his surgery. He learned that the doctor will begin filling his pain pump on January 24 after he weans off his pain pills. Please pray for an easy transition and for some pain relief.
Danny Zoeller has learned his heart function will allow him to have back surgery on February 12.
Karen Davis had another procedure trying to determine how to fight her chronic infection. Please pray doctors can find an effective treatment for her.
Tom Clanton’s brother-in-law, Chris, recovered from Covid but still needs a stent put in his aneurysm. This procedure is not yet approved in the US because of the location of his aneurysm. Please pray for his treatment.
Kelly Horne had a heart attack and had two stents inserted. He is recovering at home and doing well.
Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU.
George Larson has throat cancer. His wife is in a wheelchair, and his daughter had an injury. Please pray for this family.
Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.
Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant. Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

Missions and Ministry Requests
Pray for our country and elected leaders.
Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.
Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3 year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.
Praises
Praise God for all He is doing in our church and community.
The Hanni family is celebrating the birth of Kurtis and Samantha’s son, Samuel “Aiden” Hanni. He joins big brother Karsten. Pray for them as they settle into a new routine with two sweet boys.
Clantons are praising God that their nephew came to visit them after many years. He is back in church and doing well.
