  • Emily Harrison requests prayer for a friend named Jrey who has a difficult life and seeks to live differently. Pray for him to know the true love of Christ and find stability in walking through life with Jesus.

  • Terry and Susan Leatherwood and their son Daniel continue to visit with one another. Continue to pray as this family is reconciled with one another. Praise the Lord!

  • Jeffery and Belinda Yesslith’s son, Aurelius, is in basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, with the National Guard. Please pray for his experience and for his parents.

  • Pray for Cory Pruitt as he hunts for a new job. Pray for the Lord to bring peace and comfort, as well as a new job for Cory.

  • Please pray for Linda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.

  • Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 19), has finally been in touch with their family. PRAISE GOD! Beverly requests that we continue to pray for him to come to know the Lord and for God to provide him with a peer group that will encourage him.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Katie MacDougall’s follow-up with her doctor at Mayo resulted in changes in treatment. Please pray this treatment would be approved by insurance quickly, reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. To ensure the best care in the event these treatments don’t work, Katie is going back to Mayo this week to meet with the transplant team there for an initial consultation. Please pray for wisdom and peace with this process, but also that the treatments would eliminate or delay the need for transplant.

  • Sherrill Sageser passed the psychiatric evaluation and is now waiting for insurance to approve his pain pump

  • Terry Mason is recovering well from knee replacement surgery and is released to drive.

  • Belinda Yesslith has a lung disease that is incurable. It is not cancer. Pray for her comfort and relief from coughing. Her son should be home in December from the National Guard.

  • Danny Zoeller’s heart monitor had a malfunction and was sent for repairs.

  • Charlotte Wittner will have an EEG in October to search for the reason for her passing out. She is having difficulty walking on her left leg.

  • Sam Wittner has great pain in his shoulders but continues to try to do chores around the house.

  • Haley and Jonathan Cordova have moved her mother in their home. She has dementia. Pray for them as they adjust and as they provide care for her.

  • George Larson has throat cancer. His wife is in a wheelchair, and his daughter had an injury. Please pray for this family.

  • Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. She will have her regularly scheduled every 3 month MRI on September 18. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.

  • Rodney Lee's brother, David, had his kidney removed earlier this year due to cancer. The pathology report indicated it was ureteral cancer and not kidney cancer even though the tumor was in the kidney. They have been monitoring him with scans every three months and as of the last scan in early August, there is no indication that the cancer has spread to any other organs, the bladder being the main concern. He has decided to forgo radiation or chemo and is opting for a wholistic nutritional approach to recover and stay healthy. He is doing well and feeling stronger since the surgery. Thank for you for your continued prayers as he recovers.

  • Cathy Burris is improving and is now able to help John in the kitchen some.

  • Sharon Daniels is on medication for her dementia. Please pray she will be able to stay home. Continue to pray for John as he cares for her.

  • Curtis Yerby’s cousin-in-law, Tim Lynch, is ill with an infection he acquired after a medical procedure in Idaho. His initial injuries stem from a vehicle crashing into the wall of his workplace and causing damage to the base of his brain and his diaphragm. Please pray that he will receive good care and that his medical team will have wisdom to care for him, as well as praying for his full and complete healing

  • Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant.  Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

  • Kathy Quillin is still unemployed.  She has made applications; gone thru the interview stage; and then, she believes the potential employer determines her age; and she is not offered a position.  She has now almost depleted her savings, ran out of unemployment and it is now critical that she find employment.  If you know of anyone looking for an employee who is on time; dedicated, honest and willing to do the work, please contact Kathy.  Also, please pray that an opening will become available for her to go back to work; either full time or part time.  She would like to work full time; however, at this time she is willing to take a part time position.

  • The Just’s granddaughter, Sophia Weihermueller, is walking independently with her new brace and only needs her new wheelchair for long distances. We are thankful for her recovery and all your prayers!
