CHBC Prayer List

April 22, 2025

New Prayer Requests

  • Glenda Phillips passed away. Services are planned at CHBC on Sunday, April 27, at 2:30 PM. Please pray for the family.

Ongoing Requests

  • Velta Zoeller’s brother, James, still has a difficult relationship with his son, Scott. Scott has had many problems during his life. He recently went to the hospital with heart problems and back pain. The doctor prescribed a medication that might help him live another five years. If he doesn’t take it, he won’t. Scott won’t listen to anyone sharing the gospel. Please pray for his salvation and health.

  • Pray for the Weigand’s friends who are workers in North Africa. They lost their home sending church. They have still not been able to connect with a new sending church, as travel and ministry difficulties make it hard to return to the states to build that support system back up. Pray for the Lord to provide answers and support according to His will.

  • Tia Philbin is taking legal action in a very traumatic situation that she experienced in the past. She is asking for strength and peace during the process as well as justice to be served.

  • Paul Christy is serving in the Air Force in Italy. Pray for community and strength for him as he’s away for the next few years.

  • Pray for those in our church family who are looking for new jobs, that the Lord would provide for their needs and place them in the right position for their gifts, talents, and to be used for His glory.

  • Keaire Wilkins (Sheireka's son) needs prayer for the outcome of his review request.

  • Pray for wisdom for John Daniels as he cares for Sharon.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

  • Cathy Burris’ brother, Bob, was released to a 21 day physical rehab facility. He is still in a lot of pain, healing very slowly, but he should make a full recovery and has a positive outlook. He was able to sit up to watch TV.
