CHBC Lexington Chapel Service Prayer requests

John—We’ve been praying for John (A LEO in temporary maximum) for the past few weeks.  God moved and actually put John this past week exactly where he needed to be, at Lexington in minimum yard, surrounded by a strong body of believers, including the CHBC Lexington Inmate leadership.  And John will now remain present, for the heart medical attention he needs, at the Lexington infirmary!  This is a praise!

Deportees heading back to their home countries.  There are many of our brothers in Christ who have been in the maximum security holding cells for over a month, simply waiting for the trip back to their home country.  These are not pleasant conditions at all. There are men leaving their families behind, and going back to home countries which they’ve not been to in over a decade. These Christian men acknowledge and understand the reason, but the hardship is still there.  Please be in prayer for some of these men:  Junio, Antonio, Marcello, Guanzol, Martin, Hermando, Esquiel, Fernando, Juan, Marcos, Omar, Alexi, and many others.

Collin—Requests prayer for the maintaining of his relationship with his 15 yr old daughter and his wife.

Alexi—Requests prayer for his 7 yr old son Jaden.

Kaleb Gage Tate—Requests prayer for many things, mostly that there would be a change in his family’s future, and that the abuse and mistreatments of the past that he endured, and which he did pass on to some of his own family, would STOP!  He asks to understand “how to love” and asks for prayer for his mother, his father, and his children.

Christopher Dewey—struggles with tobacco and loneliness.  Seeks to grow in his relationship with Jesus.

Alex Grand—asks for prayer for the “Lord to be with me” at his court date on March 19th.

Elijah Brown—asks for prayer to help him stay on track.  Requests prayer for the whole Brown family, and his mother Paulette and niece Tozz who are both in the hospital.

Anonymous—“My pray request is for the people that I’ve let down, the ones that I haven’t always been there for, and for my brother.  I ask for strengthening of my faith, and for holding me when I feel like giving up.”

Lexington Chapel Salvation Report

Pray for the 8 men listed below who repented and trusted in Jesus on 03/17/2025:  In spite of the human/flesh language barrier that The Enemy would have us fear, God made some powerful ways and 6 men in Unit 2 (deportation unit) surrendered to Jesus!

Just as Abraham “believed God and He counted it to him as righteousness” (Genesis 15:6), so today as Jesus tells us in John 6:29 in response to the disciples wondering what they themselves could “do”, Jesus is very clear; “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”  Please pray for this posture of humility, through the grace and mercy of God, by the power and working of The Holy Spirit, toward this freely offered gift of Jesus, for all of us!

If you have a request you would like us to pray for and add to this list, please email prayer@chbcok.com.
