New Prayer Requests

  • Tom Clanton’s sister will have a shoulder replacement Tuesday. She is a caregiver for her son, Mike, and she will need help. 

  • Cathy Burris’ brother, Bob, was knocked to the floor by their big dog. He has a cracked pelvis and was in the ER a long time because there were no rooms available. Please pray for his healing. 

  • Mary Mitchell’s sister fell, and her head was bleeding. She is hospitalized. 

  • Pray for all the families in our church and city affected by illness and for health for our community.

Ongoing Requests

  • Please be in prayer for Will, the adult son of a man who was in Scott Sanbar’s class in Middle and High School. Will has many serious life challenges, and needs all our prayers desperately, as well as does all the family.

  • Belinda Yesslith lost her daughter earlier this year.. This has caused stress to her marriage and her relationships with her other children. Pray for God to be with them in this situation.

  • Pray for the salvation of Scott Sanbar’s son, Tyler, and Tyler’s girlfriend, Kayla.

  • Pray for the Weigand’s friends who are workers in North Africa. They lost their home sending church and need to find a new one but travel and ministry difficulties make it hard to return to the states to build that support system back up. Pray for the Lord to provide answers and support according to His will.

  • Tia Philbin is taking legal action in a very traumatic situation that she experienced in the past. She is asking for strength and peace during the process as well as justice to be served.

  • Paul Christy is serving in the Air Force in Italy. Pray for community and strength for him as he’s away for the next few years. 

  • Pray for those in our church family who are looking for new jobs.

  • Keaire Wilkins (Sheireka's son) needs prayer.

  • Pray for wisdom for John Daniels as he cares for Sharon.

  • Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.

  • Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.

  • Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.

Hospitalizations and Illnesses

  • Donna Sharp’s friend, Dan Maddux, had a successful back surgery and a total knee replacement. Please pray for a quick recovery. He will need to have the other knee done soon. 

  • Bob Boyer has congestion and coughing. 

  • June Holloway’s flu symptoms were better, but they discovered kidney stones and June had surgery last week to remove them and now has a stint. Pray for her continued healing. She is at Jim Thorpe Rehab at Baptist. Phil Holloway fell at home but got help and is doing better. 

  • Linda Sageser had a second chest X-ray, which showed some improvement, but she is still short of breath and coughing. Her doctor said recovery can take up to six weeks. 

  • Carlos & Kaylee Trujillo (guests) request prayer for a healthy pregnancy & baby.

  • Pray for Mark and Robin Myers, son and daughter-in-law of former members, Steve and Lisa. Robin is close to 20 weeks pregnant with identical twins and had surgery to correct complications associated with twin to twin transfusion syndrome. The surgery went well, but comes with additional possible complications, including the increased risk of preterm delivery. Pray for Robin to heal with no infections, for the twins to remain healthy, and for a full-term pregnancy with no further complications.

  • Lelia Lokey’s roommate, Addy, was involved in an auto vs train accident on 1/21/25. Praise the Lord she survived with no major injuries, mainly bruising and soreness. Pray for her as she recovers from this terrifying experience.

  • Darrell and Robin Smith (Northeast Fellowship sending team) were in a wreck.. Robin has a broken wrist, and had surgery to set the fracture. Their car was totaled, and they are very sore. Please pray for wisdom as they navigate insurance with the car and for a smooth recovery for Robin and Darrell.

  • Keno King had surgery to remove a kidney due to renal cell carcinoma. He is meeting with an oncologist and lung specialist to make decisions about some swollen lymph nodes and possible biopsies. Pray for full healing.

  • Please pray for Matt Mahler’s cousin, Stephen, who has been diagnosed with a tumor on his brain stem. He is meeting with multiple neurosurgeons this week to determine next steps. Stephen and his wife, Lindsay, have two kids (anges 11 & 13) and live in DFW.

  • Charlotte Wittner has a liver growth and cystic lesion on her pancreas. Sam has several health issues as well. Pray for their healing.

  • Tom Clanton’s nephew, Mike Wright is on hospice. He is a Christian. He has been in great pain, but God is answering prayers for pain relief. Pray for Tom’s sister who is taking care of Mike.

  • Please pray for Kathy Quillin as she is healing after a full knee replacement with straightening of her leg. She has been dealing with various areas that are setting her recovery behind. Pray for strength and endurance as she works with her physical therapist.

  • Sherrill Sageser had his stimulator programmed and learned he’s using a lot of energy from it. He will need to charge it every two days. The program can be adjusted to help his back pain. 

  • Pray for Tanya Fobasso’s parents health and well that God would provide exactly what her family needs.

  • Charline DeWitt’s friend had a heart attack and is in the hospital in Arizona. Please pray for her full recovery. Charline and Dennis are also thankful for all the prayers, cards, and encouragement in his ongoing recovery.

  • Debbie Weir still has a bad cough. She had the cysts removed from her esophagus. 

  • Shelby Byrd is having hip issues. Pray for healing and provision for him. 

  • Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.

  • Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU. 

  • Members with continuing health concerns: Karen Davis, Jim Davis, Kevin Fox, David Spiva, Cameron Frank, Cathy Burris, Michelle Hawkins’ brother, Mark Manning, Frazier’s nephew and his wife; Greg and Sarah Frazier, Glenda Phillips, Sherrill Sageser, Sam Wittner, Charlotte Wittner, Sharon Daniels, Belinda Yesslith.

Missions and Ministry Requests

  • Pray for our country and elected leaders.

  • Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.

  • Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3-year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.

  • De’Vonte’ Pittman is serving on the mission field in North Africa. He will be there at least a year. Pray for him and for the people groups with whom he will be sharing the gospel.

  • Pray the congregation at Northeast Fellowship, that they would grow in their love for God and each other. Pray for their community, specifically for the new people moving to their community that the Lord would use their church to reach them with the gospel and equip them to meet their physical needs. Let everything they do/plan be devotional, and draw them closer to the Lord.

Praises

  • Praise God for all He is doing in our church and community.

  • Cathy and John Burris both had Covid, but they are recovered and back at church.

CHBC Lexington Chapel Service Prayer requests

  • ClaytoClayton Moore—requests prayers for deliverance from anger and drug addition, and to not have to change prisons.

  • Rusty—Adjusting to his life outside of prison, after 12 years.

  • Family & Friends of Cody Delano—Passed away in prison on Feb 4th.

  • Jeremy—asks for prayer that he would recognize and walk-in God’s will regarding which prison he is sent to.

  • Relationships—That God would protect, restore and/or remove relationships, according to His good and perfect will, in these men’s lives—Robert, Vince, Benigo, John, Shawn, Collin, Jonathan, Carl, Zachary, Devan.

  • Dandy—requests prayer for his children’s health

  • Dejuan—requests prayer for his daughters and granddaughters, that they would stay kind and understanding.

  • Heath Haney—pray for his daughter who had a cist removed from ear canal, but now struggling with hearing problems.

  • Tyler Johnson—pray for him to follow the path that God places before him.

  • Wilson—requests prayer for his children, and that they would get in touch with him soon.

  • Scottie—requests prayer for his daughters Evan and Sierra, and that they would come to know, and be known by Jesus.
