New Prayer Requests
Please pray for Kathy Quillin as she is healing after a full knee replacement with straightening of her leg. She has been dealing with various areas that are setting her recovery behind. Pray for strength and endurance as she works with her physical therapist.
Pray for Justin and Ashley Somers’ family. Ashley’s father passed away 12/07/2024 and the home they live in has been sold. Pray for guidance for their family as they seek a new home and what the Lord has next for their family.
Pray for those in our church family who are battling illness, loneliness, or grief this holiday season.

Ongoing Requests
Steve Mesenbrink, former member and father of Diana Barr, passed away after a battle with cancer. Please pray for his wife, Lisa, as well the rest of the family as they mourn his passing.
Pray for a recent guest of our church service, Tamara. Tamara has recently lost her job and her husband has kidney disease. Pray that God will provide for their family through this difficult trial.
Pray for the salvation of Scott Sanbar’s son, Tyler, and Tyler’s girlfriend, Kayla.
Pray for the Weigand’s friends who are workers in North Africa. They lost their home sending church and need to find a new one but travel and ministry difficulties make it hard to return to the states to build that support system back up. Pray for the Lord to provide answers and support according to His will.
Velta Zoeller’s 13-year-old grandson, Griffin, lacks one growth hormone. Another one is very low. Please pray for proper treatment as he enters puberty.
Tia Philbin is taking legal action in a very traumatic situation that she experienced in the past. She is asking for strength and peace during the process as well as justice to be served.
Paul Christy is serving in the Air Force in Italy. Pray for community and strength for him as he’s away for the next few years.
Pray for those in our church family who are looking for new jobs.

Nell Head sat with Sharon Daniels last week so that John could leave for a while. Sharon slept the whole time. John is very tired and stays by her side constantly. Please pray for the Daniels and encourage John.
Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.
Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.
Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.
Hospitalizations and Illnesses
Keno King has been diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma. He saw a doctor at OU's Stephenson Cancer Center last week The doctor feels confident looking at the current scans that he can take out the kidney robotically. Surgery is scheduled for Jan. 7. Keno will have a repeat scan prior to surgery along with a chest scan to check for any metastasis. If they are able to do surgery robotically, Keno will just have to stay overnight. Pray for Keno, Johanna and their children as they go through this difficult time.
Don Cude did well after surgery and is recuperating at home.
Sherrill Sageser did well after his surgery. The stimulator will be set more accurately at his follow-up visit after Christmas.
Cathy Burris had a CT scan of her brain shunt on Monday.
Mary Kitchell had three scans last week, and they were all good. Her remaining tumor is a bit smaller.
Pray for Tanya Fobasso’s parents health and well that God would provide exactly what her family needs.
Charline DeWitt’s friend had a heart attack and is in the hospital in Arizona. Please pray for her full recovery. Charline and Dennis are also thankful for all the prayers, cards, and encouragement in his ongoing recovery.
Sharon Daniels fell and required two stitches in her head. Please pray for wisdom for John about her continued care.
Debbie Weir’s esophagus is causing her difficulty in eating. Pray she receives correct treatment.
Mary Kitchell’s sister in Texas, Jane Rogers, has many health problems and is under palliative care at this time. Please pray for her family.
Pat Boyer had a visit today where the doctor performed a nerve test showing she has carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, plus additional neuropathy. She will have an appointment with a specialist on January 22. Pray for her pain levels to be manageable while she awaits her appointment.
Nell Head may also have a torn meniscus as well as back pain. Pray for relief.
Pam & Curtis Yerby have a neighbor who has been dealing with hepatitis C for 19 years. Recently, his numbers have been going up and he also fell recently and fractured his shoulder. He’s in his 80s and his name is Glen Morgan. Pray for Glenn and for the Yerbys as they minister to him.
Shelby Byrd is having hip issues. Pray for healing and provision for him.
Debbie Weir is still having heart issues after her previous procedure.
Madi Grogan has been in ongoing pain for a while. Pray for guidance for the doctors as they look for the causes of Madi’s pain and a solution that will bring healing to her body. Pray for peace for her mind, as well as endurance and comfort for her family.
Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.
Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.
Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.
Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU.
Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek Merideth. Earlier this month her MRI indicated that the brain tumor remains stable. She has completed the oral chemo protocol so was taken off the medicine. It had significant side effects so I'm sure her quality of life will be improved but we still need prayer the tumor does not grow!
Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems and other problems related to liver failure. Also, it was discovered he has a heart valve that was damaged from the multiple biopsies done to monitor transplant rejection, which may need surgical intervention in the future. The accumulation of stress has taken a toll on their marriage. Pray for mercy and peace.

Missions and Ministry Requests
Pray for our country and elected leaders.
Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.
Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3-year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.
De’Vonte’ Pittman is serving on the mission field in North Africa. He will be there at least a year. Pray for him and for the people groups with whom he will be sharing the gospel.
Pray the congregation at Northeast Fellowship, that they would grow in their love for God and each other. Pray for their community, specifically for the new people moving to their community that the Lord would use their church to reach them with the gospel and equip them to meet their physical needs. Let everything they do/plan be devotional, and draw them closer to the Lord.

CHBC Lexington Chapel Service Prayer requests
James—A joyous new follower of Christ! Pray for continued encouragement and growth as he continues his walk forward with Christ!
Anthony—pray that he would submit to what he knows to be true in his heart about Jesus. Pray that he would lay aside his pride and begin walking with Jesus.
John—prayer for his mother and her hip issues. And prayer for his brother taking dialysis.
Jake—pray for his children and their walk with Jesus, and pray for Jake to lead the way with his commitment to focusing on Jesus as Lord and Savior.
RTG—pray for men to continue to gather and support one another.
ExandUs—Pray for the potential to begin a housing ministry as well, supporting Christian men with chaplain recommendations with stable transition housing.
General prayer for peace and wellbeing amongst all the isolate men and women, separated from their loved ones.
