New Prayer Requests

  • Robert Ladymon has a friend in Tyler, TX, had a double bypass. Please pray for his healing.

  • Mikel Ladymon has had pain in her side for 40 years that was misdiagnosed. Now she has a knot there. She’s going to see a doctor on the 20th about it. Please pray she gets a correct diagnosis and treatment. 

Ongoing requests

  • Lynda Ramsey had knee replacement surgery today (January 20). Pray for her healing.

  • Debbie Weir will have knee replacement surgery on February 2.

  • Dan Maddeux, Donna Sharp’s friend, fell and isn’t feeling well. 

  • Steve Fiser had hip replacement surgery on Wednesday, January 7. Please pray for a successful surgery and recovery.

  • Kathy Quillin was diagnosed with severe Tennis Elbow and nerve problem in my right arm from elbow to wrist.  She is wearing a brace at night and band around her arm by the elbow. She will return to her doctor in four weeks to determine if an injection is needed.

  • Robert Ladymon fell and had to have help getting up. He has trouble walking and getting out of his chair. His movements are difficult because of his MS. 

  • Velta Zoeller’s daughter, Teresa, and her granddaughter, Nikki, are both recovering well from their surgeries. However, Nikki has no income and needs to pay rent and support her son. Pray for provision. 

  • Donna Sharp requests prayers of salvation for her son, Colton, and for her sister. 

  • Members with continuing health concerns: Debbie Weir, Kathy Quillin, Madi Grogan, Abigail Gulley, Anna Harkins, Karen Davis, Jim Davis, Kevin Fox, David Spiva, Cameron Frank, Cathy Burris, Sherrill Sageser, Sam Wittner, Charlotte Wittner, Belinda Yesslith, Robert and Mikel Ladymon, Mary Kitchell.

  • Praise God for all He is doing in our church and community.

CHBC Prison Ministry Prayer Requests

Please keep the following requests in your prayers this week.

  • Continue to pray for Christ Whinery (DOC Field Minister), upcoming surgery in February to treat his severe plantar fasciitis, as well as a heel fracture.

  • Continue to pray for Montana, and for his father Jamie, struggling with heart issues/anxiety (in-particular regarding his son being in prison)

  • Jacob continues to request prayer for God to preserve his relationship with his wife during this time of separation.

  • Brent Cisco prays for peace in his relationship with the mother of his child, as well as his relationship with his son.

  • Tuydale needs prayer for encouragement and daily upliftment as he continues to choose The Bible, to choose Truth, and to choose Jesus. 

  • Cody praises the Lord for his being over 900 days sober, and seeks prayer for encouragement as he continues his walk and his work for The Lord.

  • Drake prays for encouragement and peace as he deepens his study and as he begins a journey to become part of the 4th OBU cohort at Lexington.

     

Remember to keep the following men in your prayers, as they have surrendered to Jesus with prayers of repentance and surrender during recent A&R cell-to-cell visits.  12 new believers in 2026 already, and 1098 since Feb 2023.  Praise God!  All glory to and for God and His kingdom!
