New Prayer Requests
Anna Harkins is nearing the end of her medicine changes. So far, by the grace of God, she's not had anymore seizures. Please join her parents, Greg and Beth, in prayer that these medications continue to help her live seizure free again.
Nell Head fell on her back at home on Tuesday. Nothing is broken, but she’s in a lot of pain. Please pray for comfort and healing for Nell.
Velta Zoeller’s nephew, Scott, is living with her brother, James. Scott went through a divorce and a back surgery. He is very depressed and suicidal. They are not getting along. Pray for Scott’s emotions and for a better relationship with his dad.
Bob Boyer has carpal tunnel syndrome in his right wrist. He’s been given medication, a brace, and exercises to do. Please pray for healing.
Ongoing Requests
Keaire Wilkins (Sheireka's son) has pending charges. Please pray for the family as they navigate meetings with his attorney and the DA, for peace in the waiting (court scheduled for Aug. 5th), and for the most positive outcome possible. Geneva Skala is experiencing some problems and requests prayers for strength.
Trent Harkins (teenage son of Beth and Greg) is at Basic Training in Fort Benning, GA. Pray for Trent to have a successful time at training and for his family as they will miss him over the summer.
John Daniels needs calls of encouragement because he doesn’t know what steps to take next with Sharon. She does well during the day but gets confused in the evenings.
Please pray for Lynda Ramsey’s daughter and son’s salvation. That God would give her son, Donald, a message that would bring him to His Word and to Himself. Pray that her daughter would be delivered from depression.
The Just’s nephew, Jason, is in prison. Please pray Colossians 1:9-10 over him. He professes Christ and wants to live for Him during incarceration.
Pray for Beverly Hite’s grandson, Michael (age 20), that God would intervene and draw him back into a relationship with the Lord and with his family.
Pray for the people of Israel and the Middle East. Pray that Christ would be made known, pray for peace in and around Israel, pray for the protection of innocents in the entire area. Continue to pray for those working to spread the Good News in the midst of this crisis.
Hospitalizations and Illnesses
Former member, Dwayne Smith, was in the new heart unit at Integris (not OHH) and was transferred to a regular room after heart bypass surgery. Please pray for healing for Dwayne and comfort for Deanna.
Cathy Burris’ friend, Greg Earles, was in a serious car accident and has many broken bones and injuries. He is home now and needs prayers for healing.
Pat Boyer is waiting to be scheduled by an interventional radiologist, who will use two probes to freeze the tumor inside her right kidney. Then he will repeat the procedure within a couple hours, hoping the tumor breaks apart and dissolves without surgery. Please pray the procedure works. Her pulmonologist continues to monitor the growth in her lung.
John Burris’ grandson, John Burris II, had his colon removed. Please pray for his recovery.
Velta Zoeller’s brother went to the ER with his irregular heart rhythm and got a pacemaker implanted to treat it. Now he doesn’t have to wait until July for his appointment.
Helen Wilkerson will be moving to assisted living at Tealridge Retirement Community in Edmond on July 19. Please pray for a safe and easy adjustment.
Sherrill Sageser had 13 X-rays taken of his back and ribs at the VA, but he has not heard the results yet. He’s hoping to be sent to their pain management doctors. His other pain doctor agreed to increase his pump another 10%. If that doesn’t help, they may switch from morphine to fentanyl in his pump. Please pray for wisdom for his doctors
Madi Grogan visited Mayo again last week for more testing. They are waiting for another appointment this month and continue to wait on test results. Pray for guidance for the doctors as they look for the causes of Madi’s pain, as well as endurance, provision and peace for Madi and her family.
Robin Smith had an ultrasound May 30th for an abnormality in her breast. Please pray for wisdom, peace and healing.
Jayne Manley’s son-in-law, Dan Franklin, just retired and learned he has cancer in his spine.
Bob Boyer’s great-niece, Hailey (21), is struggling again with the residual brain tumor left behind in an earlier surgery. Please pray for correct treatment for her.
Shirley Mathews had a repeat of her lumpectomy in March. Please pray for a successful outcome and for healing.
Evan and Levi Prince’s friend, Jeremy P., has stomach cancer. Be in prayer for him as he and his doctors decide on treatments.
Sam Wittner is suffering with arthritis. Charlotte is aware that she is having some issues with dementia.
Robert Manning’s daughter, Shelly Leaf, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for Shelly and her doctors.
One of our GED students has an adult daughter, Felicity, who has a heart valve defect and has been having trouble with blood clots which are threatening to cause the loss of toes. Pray for healing for Felicity and that her doctors would have guidance in her care.
Diana Barr’s dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be in prayer for their family as they seek the best treatments.
Dennis & Charline DeWitt have not been in Church since October 2023. Dennis had a number of procedures and health problems Please pray for his healing.
Pray for Don Cude’s neighbor, David, who has prostate cancer. He is currently undergoing chemo but doing well. Pray for his treatment and healing.
Katie MacDougall is undergoing treatment for her lung disease. Please continue praying this treatment would reduce inflammation, slow disease progression, and reduce the need for more unpleasant treatment options as well as wisdom for her pulmonary teams at Mayo and OU.
Carol and Johnny Just’s granddaughter Marek is being treated for a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2019. They appreciate prayers for the brain tumor to remain stable or shrink.
Johnny and Carol Just’s son-in-law, Mitch Merideth, had a heart transplant in 2016. He continues to struggle with health problems related to liver failure caused from many years of taking medications for his heart failure and then heart transplant. Please pray he can manage the condition and gain some weight.

Missions and Ministry Requests

Hannah and Ben Hanes are missionaries serving in the Bronx in NYC.
Logan & Morgan Hanni & their sons, Liam & Grayson, are serving a 3 year term as IMB missionaries to Southeast Asia. Please pray for their travel, language learning and cultural adjustment. Pray for unreached people groups in Southeast Asia to come to a saving faith in Jesus.
De’Vonte’ Pittman is serving on the mission field in North Africa. He will be there at least a year. Pray for him and for the people groups with whom he will be sharing the gospel.
Praises
Praise God for all He is doing in our church and community.
Lynda Ramsey’s daughter, Lisa’s, scan for ovarian cyst was clear.
Karen Davis had another infection but oral medication took care of it.
Tom Clanton’s brother-in-law, Chris, was able to have his kidney stone removed without extensive surgery. He’s doing well.
Delores Hnot had a knee replacement. She dreaded it but it now recovering well.

Vince: Prayer for daughter named Carol, for salvation. Also for grace to be used to lead more men to Christ.

Dakota: Prayer for healing for his mother’s cancer. Deliverance from his drug addiction, and strength to stay on God's path.

Nate: Prayer that he can get ahold of his grandma and she can figure out how to use the system so they can talk more often.
