PASTOR’S NOTE
Hey Church Family,
I love how Acts 2:42 describes the early church: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship..."
The word fellowship comes from the Greek word koinonia, which means a deep, intimate sharing together through the Holy Spirit—a life of unity and partnership in Christ.
One of the things I love most about CHBC is the genuine love and unity we share. That kind of fellowship is a powerful testimony to the gospel, and I believe God is doing incredible things in and through our church because of it. He is faithful, and He is so good.
I also want to invite you into a special season of prayer. Beginning this Sunday, we'll provide a weekly prayer guide to help us seek the Lord together as one church family. Over the next three weeks, we'll focus on cultivating hearts of surrender, praying as Jesus taught us: "Your will be done."
I can't wait to worship with you this Sunday!
WHIZ KIDS
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Whiz Kids is a unique faith-based, one-on-one volunteer tutoring and mentoring program that partners CHBC with students from Tulakes Elementary on Wednesday afternoons. This program allows us to help kids succeed in school, learn about Jesus & minister to their families.
If you are interested in serving as a tutor, substitute, or helping out in any way, please fill out THIS FORM and we will be in contact in the coming weeks.
Contact Debbie Hanni at debbiehanni@gmail.com, if you would like further information.
