PASTOR’S NOTE
Hey Church Family,
I am so grateful for the way you faithfully love, serve, and give to advance the Kingdom of God! One of my greatest joys as your pastor is watching our church family come together to care for others and share the hope of Jesus. God is good, and He is doing great things in and through CHBC!
This Sunday, we have another opportunity to put that love into action as we receive a special offering for one of our partner churches, Everlasting Church in the Bronx. Your generosity will help them serve their community through grocery giveaways and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. I encourage you to begin praying now about what the Lord would have you give as we partner together to share the love of Jesus!
I'm also looking forward to worshiping with you Sunday as we continue our series, A People for His Kingdom, in John 4, looking at Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well. Jesus gives us a powerful example of what it means to live on mission, intentionally reaching people with the hope of the gospel.
I love seeing our church family living on mission, both here at home and through our ministry partners! Can't wait to worship with you Sunday!

THANKSGIVING BASKETS | NOV 23
Help us turn a Thanksgiving basket into an opportunity for a gospel connection!
On Monday, November 23rd, families who won Thanksgiving baskets through our Trunk or Treat outreach will be coming to receive them, and we need people ready to welcome them and share the love of Jesus. As part of our Gospel Connection Team, you’ll offer to pray with families, invite them to church, and engage in gospel conversations as opportunities arise.
We need volunteers available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Sign up and help us continue the connections that began at Trunk or Treat!

Wednesday Night Meal
Start with a family dinner in the Fellowship Hall from 5-6pm. Cost is $5 per person, with a $20 family max (first time guests are free).
Menu for 11/11/26:
Chicken Strips, French Fries, Green Beans, White Gravy, Texas Toast, & Dessert
Kids: Chicken Nuggets & the same side options as above
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help serve in the kitchen on Wednesdays. This can look like helping to prep the meal, working the serving line or helping to clean up afterwards. If you’re interested in helping once a month or more, please contact Debra Bacorn at da.bacorn@gmail.com.
MDWK Activities
The doors will open at 6pm for preschool, kids, preteen, and student ministry activities.
NEW options for adults this semester from 6-7:30pm:
Men’s Bible Study will meet in the Old Choir Room (152/154)
Women’s Bible Study will meet in the Fellowship Hall
