PASTOR’S NOTE
Hey Church Family,
This Sunday, we begin a new prayer focus on protection. When we pray for God’s protection, we’re praying for more than physical safety—we’re also praying for spiritual, mental, and emotional protection. Over the next three weeks, let’s intentionally pray for one another: that we would have the mind of Christ, walk in step with the Spirit, and live obedient to God’s calling on our lives.
Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:6–7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” And as we pray, God promises that His peace “will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
This Sunday, we’ll also continue our journey through Luke 23 as we come to the cross. As we gather for worship, begin praying now that the power of the cross and Christ’s crucifixion would speak deeply into our hearts and shape the way we think, live, and love one another.
I’m grateful to walk this journey with you. Let’s pray for one another and come ready to hear from the Lord!
Love you, church family. See you Sunday!
