PASTOR’S NOTE
Hey Church Family,
Prayer is one of our most powerful tools, and Scripture is our most powerful weapon! As we continue in this season of prayer, I want to encourage you to pause and consider not only that we pray, but how Scripture teaches us to pray. (Ephesians 6:17–18; Philippians 4:6–7; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)
This week, take some time to practice four healthy rhythms of prayer: repentance, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. My prayer is that these practices won’t simply become a routine, but will help shape our hearts and draw us closer to the Lord.
I’m looking forward to gathering together as a church family in community and worship this Sunday!

We will have our monthly Deacon’s meeting this Sunday, at 4:30pm.
FAMILY BUSINESS MEETING
We will have our monthly family business meeting this Sunday, at 5:30pm in the worship center to discuss new members, our budget, and an update from a pastor.
TRUNK OR TREAT | OCT 31
Cooler weather has finally arrived and we’re gearing up for another great Trunk or Treat!
We need help in just about every area, from trunks, to set up, to hospitality, and more. Sign up for a trunk or other area to serve here »
And of course we will need lots and lots of candy. We have buckets for collection around the church and in grand central, you can drop your candy in either the OU, OSU, OKC Thunder, or Sportsball barrels for some competitive fun. You can also click here to donate towards candy »

Wednesday Night Meal
Start with a family dinner in the Fellowship Hall from 5-6pm. Cost is $5 per person, with a $20 family max (first time guests are free).
Menu for 9/30/26:
Baked Potato Bar with all the toppings (including broccoli & cheese), Salad Bar, Strawberry Cheesecake
Kids: Pizza Rolls and a fruit cup
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help serve in the kitchen on Wednesdays. This can look like helping to prep the meal, working the serving line or helping to clean up afterwards. If you’re interested in helping once a month or more, please contact Debra Bacorn at da.bacorn@gmail.com.
MDWK Activities
The doors will open at 6pm for preschool, kids, preteen, and student ministry activities.
NEW options for adults this semester from 6-7:30pm:
Men’s Bible Study will meet in the Old Choir Room (152/154)
Women’s Bible Study will meet in the Fellowship Hall
