PASTOR’S NOTE
Hey Church Family,
Our family returned from vacation feeling rested and refreshed, and being away reminded me just how blessed we are by our pastoral team. I loved hearing Pastor Cameron and Pastor Mark faithfully preach God's Word. Having multiple voices in the pulpit strengthens our church, and I am grateful for all our pastors faithful leadership.
This Sunday is Launch Sunday as we begin a new ministry year together! We'll pause our study in Luke for a four-week series on our Core 4—Word, Prayer, Care, and Share—the discipleship rhythms that shape who we are as a church.
During the Small Group hour, I also want to invite you to our Men's and Women's Discipleship Preview. You'll hear our vision cross generational disciple-making, learn about ministry opportunities this year, and get a glimpse of what Wednesday night discipleship will look like.
I can't wait to worship with you and see all that God has in store for CHBC this year. See you Sunday!

MDWK IS BACK | AUG 19
We are so excited to get “back to normal” with midweek activities this semester including new opportunities for discipleship and fellowship!
Wednesday Night Meal
Start with a family dinner in the Fellowship Hall from 5-6pm. Cost is $5 per person, with a $20 family max (first time guests are free).
Menu for 8/19/26:
Hot dogs/Chili dogs, Chips, Coleslaw, Ice cream
Kids: PB&J and fruit
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help serve in the kitchen on Wednesdays. This can look like helping to prep the meal, working the serving line or helping to clean up afterwards. If you’re interested in helping once a month or more, please contact Debra Bacorn at da.bacorn@gmail.com.
MDWK Activities
The doors will open at 6pm for preschool, kids, preteen, and student ministry activities.
New options for adults this semester from 6-7:30pm:
Men’s Bible Study will meet in the Old Choir Room (152/154)
Women’s Bible Study will meet in the Fellowship Hall

SUNDAY NIGHT PROPHECY STUDY | AUG 16
Our next Sunday Night Prophecy Study with Johnny Just will be on Sunday, August 16th.
We will have Fellowship time from 5:30-6:00 pm and Teaching time (Ezekiel) from 6:00-7:00pm. This group meets every 3rd Sunday of the month in Room 152/154 (behind the worship center).
