Fall Schedule
We’re excited to settle back into fall! Stay up-to-date on everything going on this fall at CHBC, from Student ministry all the way up to our senior adults, in one convenient place.
New Equip Classes
Women’s Fall Bible Study: Job
Grief, even when we scream it to the heavens in an unseemly manner, is not the opposite of hope. In fact, grief is a sign of hope because grief says you're still in it, grief says that you still believe that some way, a Rescuer will come... that God will come for us. That only He will make right what is horribly wrong in our little corner of the world.
In this 7-session study written by Lisa Harper, discover the redemptive side to Job's story of suffering. Learn to use pain to strengthen your faith, point others to the gospel, and remember God's providence will never take you to a place where His grace will not sustain you.
Begins September 7th at 6pm.
Old Testament I
One of our Pastoral Residents, Stephen Brown, will led a fall semester through much of the Old Testament.

Before the Wrath | September 11th
Sunday, September 11, 6:00 pm, the Sunday Night Prophecy Class will be sponsoring a church wide showing in the Worship Center of “Before the Wrath.”
Watch the trailer and invite your friends, especially those that have questions about
what it means to be “Raptured.” The premiere of this movie impacted non-believers.

Whiz Kids Volunteers Needed!
You can help! Did you know that Whiz Kids students show improvement in reading test scores, build a higher self-esteem and self-confidence, and build a personal relationship with God? This is a powerful ministry to our community! There are three awesome ways you can help: full-time tutor, substitute tutor, or food team.
We will have a training on September 7th and then Whiz Kids will start on September 14th.
