Christmas Kids Church
If you’re a parent of a K-5th grader, we are excited to announce a brand new kids worship experience happening Sunday mornings in December. When small groups are over, small group leaders will help transition kids to the new children’s worship room. Kids will not be joining parents for main worship unless they are checked out from their small group. If parents wish to have their children join kids church after music in main worship, they will need to escort their child back to kids church and check them back in.
Kids Church in December will be on the 12th and 19th. Family Worship will be December 26th and January 2nd. We will continue having family worship once a month next year and transition to our new Kids Church format. Reach out to Pastor Caleb if you have any questions.
Family Business Meeting
Our monthly family business meeting has been moved up one week for December, and it’s one you don’t want to miss. We’ll be sharing vision for the upcoming year and some exciting changes and staff realignment that is planned for the upcoming year. Join us Sunday, December 19 at 5:30 pm in the worship center.
Rio Bravo Christmas Tree
Rio Bravo Christmas Tree is located just outside Fellowship Hall. Please take an ornament and purchase a gift for a child at the Rio Bravo Children’s Home. There is information on the back of the ornament. You can have the gift shipped or you can bring your gift to the church. We will be delivering the gifts on December 21st. The deadline for having your gifts at the church is Sunday, December 19th. PLEASE, tag the gift with the ornament, but DO NOT wrap the gift. Thank you for remembering the children in Reynosa, Mexico!
Wednesday Night Meal
Having a hard time getting from work and getting the family to church on time while still having time for a good dinner? Wednesday night meals are BACK at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $5 per person with a family max of $15 (and we now can even take debt and credit cards!).
Christmas Food Baskets
We will be making Christmas Food Baskets next week. We already have several who we have been made aware of that are truly in need. We are asking our Church Family to bring non-perishable food donations to help with filling these baskets. Please bring donations to the church and leave them in fellowship hall next to the kitchen. We would also be grateful for monetary donations, as well, to help with purchasing perishables. Please make your check to CHBC & memo: Christmas Baskets. All the help you can provide will be appreciated and a genuine blessing to those in need. Help make someone less fortunate have a better Christmas this year.
Church Office Holiday Hours
No Wednesday night activities on Wednesday, December 22nd & December 29th. The church offices will be closed Wednesday, December 22nd thru Friday, December 24th in observance of Christmas Holiday. Church Offices will also be closed December 29-31st in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.
