December is the Advent season and we’re excited to celebrate with you!

Join us each Sunday in December for a more traditional twist on our typical Advent services. See you at 10:45 on Sunday!

2024 D-Group Launch | January 7th

We’re kicking off our new D-Groups in 2024 on January 7th with a 4pm training.

This meeting will be for anyone who is looking to lead a new D-Group or anyone who has been in a D-Group previously at CHBC.

GO DEEPER AT CHBC

Midweek at CHBC, every Wednesday

  • Start with a family dinner in our Fellowship Hall. Cost is $5 each, with a $15 family max.

    • The meal for this week will be biscuits and gravy, sausage, and fruit.

  • Equip classes will start at 6pm, as well as preschool, kids, preteen, and student ministry activities. See equip classes below.

Other Bible Studies

For this week’s Sunday evening Bible study, we will have Burge Troxel, Associate Teaching Pastor teaching about how the New Testament describes conditions on Earth near the coming of Christ.

Meets at 6:00pm each Sunday night in the Student Center.

Holiday Schedule at CHBC

With Christmas and New Years coming up, our schedules may look a little different. Here’s what to expect over the next month:

Wednesday Nights:

Our last Wednesday Night service of the year will be December 20th. We will resume Wednesday evening meals, Bible studies, and activities on January 10th.

Sunday Services:

  • Our Christmas Eve Sunday morning service will take place at our normal 10:45 time. We will have no small groups, childcare, or CHBC Kids activities that morning.

  • There will be no small groups on January 31st, but we will have Preschool and Kids Church during the normal 10:45 service.

Office Hours:

Our offices will be closed December 25th and 26th, and January 1st and 2nd. Offices will be open on Wednesday, December 27th through Thursday, December 29th. If you need to settle any end of year giving, please make plans accordingly to ensure your gift is received before the offices close on December 29th.
