Falls Creek Snacks Needed
You can help our cooks out and treat our students to some of your favorite baked desserts!
Cookies, brownies, bars, cakes and cupcakes will all be great options. Also, homemade cookie dough is another favorite and lets us bake them up fresh and warm at camp. (Some gluten-free desserts are needed as well.)
Please bring them this Sunday, July 23rd and leave in the kitchen. Thank you all!!!

Students Summer News
Brandon Holloway
Brandon will arrive and be joining us Sunday 7/23 and will join us for camp!
Come that Sunday morning and have breakfast with us in the youth area as we kick it off with the Holloways!
Falls Creek | July 24-29
We are 100% digital for Falls Creek this year. That means you or your student can click the link below and immediately register your student. This limits the amount of paperwork and simplifies the process.
You will still pay CHBC directly; via check, cash, or if needed we can facilitate a digital (card) payment (closer to camp). $150 for students (household sibling discount $125)
We are still in need of Falls Creek scholarships. We typically take 20-25 students that need assistance with Falls Creek, that number is expected to increase based on response to early camp sign ups. You can give toward Falls Creek scholarships here »

New Preteen Ministry
Starting in August, our 5th and 6th graders will be a part of our brand-new Preteen Ministry!
This is a unique time in the life of our children, and we want to give them the best, most intentional ministry that we can.
5th and 6th graders will gather together for large group and small group times on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as extra awesome fellowships and events throughout the year.

Promotion Sunday | August 13
Promotion Sunday is just a few weeks away! What does that mean for you?
If you have a preschooler who’s going into kindergarten, they’ll be going upstairs. Look out for K-Day coming August 5 (more details coming soon) and you might notice our soon-to-be kindergarteners coming into the worship service to learn what’s all about—if you see them, say hi!
Our graduated high schoolers will move to the college class with Stephen and Sabrina Brown. If you have any questions, reach out to your ministry leader (Hailee, Caleb, or Brandon) and they’d love to help!
Launch Week | August 20th
Launch Sunday is the Sunday right after promotion Sunday and that’s a great time for us to engage a few special ways!
New small groups will be launching
We want to find people that we haven’t seen around in awhile and invite them back to church
We want to be able to gather together after a full summer of vacations and activities—we miss our church family!
We will celebrate coming back together (and new small groups) with a BIG family lunch right after service—details coming soon!
Whiz Kids Volunteers Needed
Whiz Kids is a faith-based, volunteer tutoring and mentoring program. Cherokee Hills has partnered with Tulakes Elementary for fourteen years to teach kids Bible truths and help them with reading and homework.
Whiz Kids meets on Wednesdays from 3-5 pm during the school year. We will be starting the new school year in September. We need tutors, substitute tutors, and cooks.

Our Whiz Kids training will be September 6th, and Whiz Kids will begin on September 13th.
Cold Brew is Back!
We have cold brew back in our coffee bar!
From now through July, we will have cold brew available for $2 every Sunday.
