December is the Advent season, and we’re excited to celebrate with you!

Join us every Sunday at 10:45am for our worship service.

Rio Bravo Christmas Tree

WOW!! All of the Rio Bravo Christmas ornaments have been claimed in record time! Thank you church family!

All gifts will go directly to one of the children at Rio Bravo Children’s Home in Reynosa, Mexico, where we’ve enjoyed a 25+ year ministry partnership. Here are the details:

  • Stop by and grab an ornament (all have been claimed!!)

  • Either mail a present directly to the listed address or

  • Bring gifts to the church by this Sunday - December 15th

  • Pray for your child and the Rio Bravo Children’s Home

  • Pray for the team headed to Reynosa Dec. 17th - Dec. 21st

MEMBERSHIP @ CHBC

Our next Connect Class at CHBC is coming up on December 14th & 21st.

The Connect Class is a great opportunity to learn more about Cherokee Hills, ask Pastor Chris questions, and pursue covenant membership if you feel led. Our Connect Class is a two week series the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month.

CHBC CARE DRIVE

In grand central and around the church, we have collection sites for items donated to the Care Drive. For those who have already donated items, money, and your time, THANK YOU! Our goal is to continue to offer this through December 17th or while supplies last.

If you or someone you know needs help, please feel free to visit during office hours or Wednesday night from 6-8pm. If you would like more information on how to get involved, please contact the church office.

MDWK at CHBC

We will NOT have a Wednesday Night Meal on 12/17/25. Meals will resume on January 7th!

  • The doors will open at 6pm for preschool, kids, preteen, and student ministry activities and Equip classes will start at 6:15pm.

    • Faith Essentials 1: What we believe, why we believe it, and what we should do about it.

      • Led by Cameron Frank and Amanda Grogan

    • Making Disciples: A hands-on class to learn about what it means to be a disciple and make disciples, including opportunities to engage in evangelism and outreach.

      • Led by Chris Gulley and Coach T

D-Groups

Wednesday nights are also a great opportunity to meet with your D-group. If you don’t have a D-Group and would like to learn more, SIGN UP for more information.

Other Bible Studies

Our Tuesday morning Bible study will resume at the beginning of the year.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE AT CHBC

With Christmas and New Years coming up, our schedules may look a little different. Here’s what to expect:

Wednesday Nights in December:

Our last Wednesday night of activities for the year will be December 17th. We will resume Wednesday evening meals, Bible studies, and activities on January 7th.

Sunday Services:

  • December 28th: Let’s celebrate Christmas together with Family Worship at 10:45. We will NOT have small groups, childcare, or Kids Church.

Office Hours:

Our offices will be closed December 24-26th and December 31st-January 2nd. If you need to settle any end of year giving, please make plans accordingly to ensure your gift is received before the offices close on December 30th.
